I would advise anyone to be careful dealing with this bunch. In my opinion they attempted to steal from my daughter. She asked for the return of a deposit when she left a place she was renting. For months she was told it was going to be paid and never was. I saw that her messages and calls were ignored, and assurances made but not kept. After several months I wrote to them them saying I would take the matter to the Small Claims Court in 24 hours if they did not give her back her deposit. I never had the courtesy of a reply, but they put the full amount of the money owed into my daughters account a few hours later. My guess is they would only treat young people or students his way. My suggestion to anyone is keep a record of your dealings with these people and complain immediately if you are not treated properly. Do not waste too much time before escalating your complaint to the Dispute Service, Property Ombudsman or whoever is most relevant or as a last resort the County Court. I cannot believe in 2021 there are still Letting Agents behaving like this.

Amy was so helpful with organsing viewings and letting agreements for my partner and I, and was easy to get hold of when we had questions during the process. Made a stressful period much easier to deal with, recommended!!

My efforts to contact Boston Taylor either by phone or by email have been repeatedly ignored throughout the process of leaving my flat whom he was the Property Manager for. After handing in my notice, I required instruction on the formalities of the checkout process and how to receive my deposit back (and rental refund for the extra days paid) and I received none. Very unhelpful, uninformative and uninterested in upkeeping a level of professionalism required for such a position. I received my deposit and refund back late, without a receipt and no cost breakdown as to why I didn't receive it all back in full. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Seems like they only look after people who are buying and selling property and like to push renting tenants to the limit. After months of emails being ignored to have a deposit returned I had to start going into their office after work every day until it was returned to me, with no apology, cordiality or update. I was shocked they even had an office the way they had behaved. Whoever I called to speak to was always busy or on holiday and would call me back. Landlords should think twice about having them manage their properties it is atrocious to be consistently treating renters in this way.

I have used Bryan & Keegan to find tenants for my property a couple of times and I would highly recommend them. Amy from B&K has been fantastic and gone above and beyond. Living at some distance meant deliveries of items to ensure the property was a s good as possible for new tenants, wasn't easy - but Amy was happy to take delivery and even took the items to the property. She remained conscious of my preferences in respect of tenants and was honest about suitable and 'not-so-suitable' tenants. It was a difficult time due to lockdown to look for a tenant and Amy was honest throughout. She knew it was important to me to have tenants who would view the property as a home and look after it and I have, through her and the team at B&K, lovely tenants in the property. Just as important (and I would recommend landlords consider this when choosing the ir agent), the tenants told me they thought B&K were great with them and treated them as an equally important part of the process. The tenants seemed to also feel that they were one of the best agents they have dealt with. I am also a tenant at the moment and am having to endure an appalling agent and it is because of the agents that I will be vacating the property after only 6 months. If you want an agent that treats both landlord and agent as equally valuable, I really would recommend Bryan & Keegan. Thank you for being so fantastic.
