Shambolic Company.

“An ex car salesman, who employs children, who play at being adults and are absolutely clueless”.

Today (Sunday) I spent 2 hrs with my buyers, doing the job that this company should have done and trying to rectify their errors - The ex car salesman kindly gave out my private number to my buyers. Clearly he has no understanding of the new ‘Data Protection Legislation’ that’s in place!

No ID has ever been taken from my buyers, nor proof of their mortgage offer - The ex car salesman clearly has no understanding of the ‘Anti Money Laundering Legislation’ either, despite my constant requests to get this information. Thinking about it, they’ve never taken my ID, so I could be anyone really.

The errors that have taken place since October are endless...

The best one to date is, for personal reasons, I had to pull out of the sale. Two months later I got a call from the ex car salesman saying my buyers are ready to exchange. Exchange? I’d pulled out and didn’t even have a Solicitor acting for me. Thomas & Partners hadn’t told my buyers anything and the poor people thought everything was ok, albeit wondering why it was taking so long to exchange contracts.

Like the heading says, shambolic!

The service received from Thomas and Partners has been excellent, they acted at all times with the best interests of the people involved at heart and at no point did I feel like they were pushing me in a direction I didn't feel comfortable with. I can't express how great it felt to have Thomas recognise me every time I came into the branch and rang the branch immediately, his level of service has been fantastic. I highly recommend Thomas and Partners and think they deserve much praise for completely bucking the typical estate agent image/trend.

Called up about a house viewing.. told we fitted their criteria and would be contacted ... we contacted them on a number of occasions to be told soon as they get access to the property we would definitely be called for a viewing... then after all that we were told the house had been let .. when I called to ask why we didnt get the chance to view the property.. the man I spoke to on the phone was very rude and said maybe they did not think you were suitable ... I am a business owner and my wife has a full time job .. we are more than suitable ... not good at all ..not professional at all ...

I just called from zoopla about a property for sale, the person said sorry you need to call another office. I suggested that they should change the information on zoopla to save everybody's time. She was very unhappy and hang up the phone. Do you really like your job?

WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS TO BUY OR SELL YOUR PROPERTY - This agent will Gazump you at the blink of an eye and will never tell you the truth or keep in contact with you regarding any sale. The main man is absolutely vile, rude, obnoxious and deceitful and when he is questioned about his Unprofessionalism he puts the phone down on you. If you wish to be treated in this manner then go ahead and use them and pay them your hard earnt money. In my opimion this eastate agents should be closed permanently and should never be allowed to represent anyone buying or selling a property. The way I have been treated by them is no less than disgusting. A total and absolute appalling service throughout a sale of one of their propertys. Save yourself from the stress this agent will cause you and buy or sell through another agent. You've Been Warned!!!!!

Unprofessional and dishonest. Our experience with this agent was absolutely horrible and disappointing. We got a viewing with them in Dover - it was very brief and not very informative to be honest - and on that day they said the flat is ours if we want it and it's available to move into as soon as we provide our references. And we did just that - I had some trouble providing mine but Let Alliance helped me sort it quickly. After that, we called the agency multiple times - they never called us, it was always us trying to get in touch. They kept leading us on - saying the references weren't right (while the Let Alliance confirmed they're ok), then saying they're just waiting for the landlady to provide some documents (bear in mind that at the viewing they said it's ready to move into...), and then saying the references are wrong again... Different people saying different things (we could never spoke to only one person who knew our case). Then they said everything is ok but they're waiting for the main boss' signature who is currently on holiday... They said when he'll be back but then never called us - we called them again after a couple of days. And then finally at one point when we called them once again they said yes it's ready to move in!!! No one thought to call us and let us now... Then they said it's basically ready to move in they're just waiting for some final checks (electricity etc which is fine and understandable) - they said we could move in either Thursday or Friday. 5 minutes later they called and said actually let's make it Monday or Tuesday next week. We were happy that it was finally ours so we said yes - at that point our time at the temporary accomodation has run out so we decided to live in a hotel for the next couple of days until Monday or Tuesday. We called them on Saturday trying to make an appointment with them - there was a different lady who said they should have never given us a date and they're still waiting for some documents. At that point we were literally homeless and absolutely hopeless. We decided to look for a different place while still giving them a chance to call us. Now, two weeks later, we're finally in our new place, AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T CALLED US. Imagine that we'd still be waiting for their sign... It's absolutely outrageous. Would never recommend this agency to anyone. It cost us so much stress. If there was something wrong with our application, they should have just said and we'd be happy to find something else straight away instead of being led on for nearly 4 weeks.
