Horrible company and super unprofessional. They have yet to refund me my deposit I had made for a tenancy and have been chasing them for the same for months and is due.

Everything went very smoothly until we moved into the property. Once in, it was a challenge to get anything done/fixed in the house. Our only contact with Eastgate Rentals was through Whatsapp — we had no landline number we could call and calls to the Whatsapp number would be cut off 95% of the time. Soon after moving in, during the summer I might add, we noticed stains appearing on the walls. As winter hit, mould and damp took hold. Although Eastgate Rentals came out to look at the issues, very little was done to fix the problems and we were told this is 'just what happens in old houses'. Thankfully we received our full deposit back, which it appears many do not. We liked the property and it had great potential and was in a great location, but ultimately had to move out as we could no longer live in a house full of mould and damp, managed by a letting agent that doesn't respond promptly, if at all. I would recommend looking elsewhere if possible.

Terrible experience with this agency. Took holding deposit then pulled out a week later, which left us in an awful position having packed and ready to move in. No explanation as to why. Avoid!!
