Extremely bad experience! I have had viewing booked but unfortunately due to emergency I was unable to attend it, the person who was supposed show the property behaved rudely and refused to reschedule it. He refused to show any properties further and add as tenant because during the emergency I did't call them and inform. SO RIDICULOUS! They lack understanding of the word "EMERGENCY" instead of being supportive, they acted in PATHETIC manner with a student. Upon asking if they deal with their customers like this, the person told "LANDLORDS ARE MY CUSTOMERS NOT TENANTS". SO IF YOU'RE A TENANT DO NOT GO THERE AS THEY WILL NOT TREAT YOU AS CUSTOMER BUT SURELY AS BEGGER. I am going take action again them and will ensure NO STUDENT will go to this agency in GUILDFORD further.

Highly recommended estate agents, we rented our property through Glenn at Belvoir and subsequently sold it too. He found great tenants and offered a realistic selling strategy. Clear and prompt communication and went above and beyond at every opportunity to support on the journey

I really didn’t appreciate the way Glenn spoke down to me in an email regarding a property. I was told that the property was ‘aimed at professionals’ despite me being a postgraduate student and working professional. The property is also listed as student-friendly on Zoopla. The condescending tone made me uncomfortable and reluctant to ever work w this agency in the future. I would not be recommend for anyone looking for a friendly/personable experience.

Belvoir Guildford are by far the best estate agent I have ever encountered. Their staff are extremely helpful, friendly and polite. In the past, I had some unpleasant experiences with other Guildford estate agents so I was very relieved to find Belvoir and I really can't recommend them enough! Their customer service is excellent.

Students beware …

Opportunistic behaviour and despicable treatment of my daughter and her house-sharers. Kept nearly £500 of deposit because a label was left in an otherwise spotless drawer, a cushion was forgotten and the garden was in the same state as it was when they moved in.

However - interestingly my daughter forgot a very good vacuum cleaner that they had brought - but this was held in to and not mentioned in the inventory.

Tried to reason with the estate agent but sadly rationality was seemingly beyond him - although defensive and aggressive shouting was clearly not.

I moved into my new flat and had issues which needed urgent attention. I contacted Belvoir to highlight these problems. My experience with the service I received was fantastic. They immediately got approval from the landlord and without any delay had all repairs done. Thank you Belvoir for your amazing service and I highly recommend you for all tenants looking for properties to rent

We have used Belvoir for over 3 years and are happy to recommend them. The staff are always responsive, helpful and professional and have been able to deal with the usual rental and maintenance/upkeep issues quickly and efficiently. The fees and charges appear to be competitive and very much in line with market rates, and we have no complaints on this front. They have been on hand when we needed support and also showed a personal touch - going the extra mile for us.

Belvoir have been an excellent Lettings Agency to go through. Especially, Claudine Aston, our Lettings Manager, who has been professional, responsive and a wonderful lady who has helped us to secure our property. I would 100% recommend her and am grateful for all of her hard work. Thank you.
