I have enjoyed a relationship with Riverdale as a tenant for over eight years. I have found them to be friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with at all times . I would have absolutely no hesitation in dealing with them again. Look no further for a friendly, professional service you can trust!

I've rented with Riverdale for the last 5 years and have had no cause for complaint. Any maintenance issues have been dealt with swiftly and I have been left to live in peace (which as a tenant is all one can really hope for!) Slightly unimpressed with some of the additional fees tacked on that are associated with paperwork, tenancy renewals etc but this would be much the same with any other estate agents. Will reserve final judgement until after I move out and have gone through the process of receiving my deposit back, as other reviews do not fill me with much confidence where this is concerned.

Update - checkout process was quick, easy and most importantly fair. Would recommend Riverdale based on my now complete experience renting with them

Unfortunately, I had a very mixed experience when dealing with Riverdale Estates. When buying a property Sarah was absolutely incredible as my point of contact. She was just so lovely and helpful, and I even sent her flowers to thank her for her service. Because of this fantastic experience, I agreed Riverdale Estates could arrange for the AST for the property (it was a rental investment I was buying) to be assigned to me upon completion. This is when Kate Fell took over and the service became pretty dire. We did eventually get the AST arranged but the process took longer than it needed to and the reasons for delays weren’t communicated until after the fact (for reference I completed on the property on the 8th of September, and it took until the 5th of October for fully signed copies to be distributed to all parties). I had to constantly chase Kate for updates and it was only in response to my chasing that she would communicate with me. She came across as having a rather unpleasant attitude which was such a contrast to how my experience had been with Sarah. Even when I asked if she could mention to my new tenants the next time she saw them that I’d sent some flowers to them, wanting to ensure they got delivered on time, she refused.. it was honestly bizarre that she had such an unhelpful attitude and all for no apparent reason. Personally, I’d now try to avoid Riverdale Estates in the future, which is a shame because they do have some great employees within the team.

Decided to rent out our flat very nervous as never done this before. Was recommended to go to Riverdale . Popped in & spoke to Sarah who explained everything. Within a few days flat was advertised & viewings were booked. Got a call to say people were interested & within 2 weeks the new tenants will be moving in. Sarah, Nicole & the rest of the team are always there if we had a question & believe me we had a few 😜 given it was so new to us but we were never made to feel we were being a nuisance. Overall outstanding service & believe our flat will be managed & looked after to a high standard. Would highly recommend

I have found Riverdale to be exceptionally helpful and professional in all of my dealings with them. They always took calls and answered emails promptly and courteously. They are stuck right in the middle between landlord and prospective tenant, often not an easy position to be in and yet they maintain just the right amount of friendly business dealings. Today was my move in date, and I am very happy that Riverdale got me where I needed to be. Huge thanks to you all, I appreciate your efforts on my behalf.

Our landlord moved our property over to Riverdale a few years ago, and I am so pleased they did. The friendly and professional Riverdale staff always make us feel that we are valued clients - issues are dealt with promptly and professionally and there's always a good level of communication.
Riverdale totally understand the importance of the relationships they are responsible for - happy tenants mean happy landlords mean happy agents.

Riverdale have been my letting agent for the last 4.5 years and they have been great at every step. Even last year during lockdown where various things decided to all go wrong at once they were on it very swiftly and got the issues resolved in great time. I've recently moved out and the process of getting my deposit back has been very smooth too. Can highly recommend going through Riverdale if possible from a tenant's point of view.

Riverdale Estates have managed our property since 2009 and have excelled in every respect. They find excellent tenants who look after the property, they resolve minor issues quickly and efficiently and for more important problems they immediately offer solutions. They have kept us fully up to speed as regulations have changed and really take the worry out of letting property. They are prepared to source replacement items locally so that our involvement is minimal whilst the property is maintained to the high standards we always strive for.
