Very bad experience speak to one colleague who kept talking over me while I tried to explain a situation that happened at the rental property. At the beginning of the tenancy they tried to blame us for damage that was already there (thank god I took photos of when I viewed the property that showed the damage) we moved in with burns in the carpet, we are now being charged to replace the whole carpet. When asked did the previous tenant have to replace the carpet? The person advised they were only charged for cleaning. So my advise, take photos at viewing and when you move in and out. Don’t speak to the gent that works at the office he is very rude, speaks over you and doesn’t have listening skills.
I had a viewing booked for 10:30, drove all the way from Bristol. I had called 2 days prior to confirm the viewing but on the day I was 10 minutes late. I called the agency 3 times before the viewing to let them know I was going to be 10 minutes late but they never answered.
I arrive after a 2 hour drive to see nobody there…
No effort to get in touch to see if I was on the way. I called the agency and they finally answered and the woman literally screamed at me! How is that okay to speak to a customer that way? I explained that I had called 3 times and they should have called to see if I was coming (especially as I had confirmed the viewing 2 days ago) and the woman said that they do not have the time to do that. Apparently the guy showed up at 10:10 (20 minutes before our appointment) and they said he was waiting a long time for me… I’m sorry but it’s not my problem if the agent decides to show up 20 minutes early but then it’s apparently unreasonable for him to wait 10
minutes after our appointment time?
Really really awful company, take your money and time elsewhere.
Maddie at NOPS has been ever so helpful in our search for a property, this is despite the constant badgering from me. Always polite, always helpful and very quick to respond and action. True asset to the company, we’ll be forever grateful.
No help as agents whatsoever during the tenancy. They attempted to deduct off our deposit for a house that the landlord wanted us to get a full refund for. These deductions were for easily disprovable reasons, and were clearly done in the hope that we would not dispute them. They took 3 weeks to get back to our complaints, had no out of office message so were unreachable by email during that time with no explanation of why, and then took 7 weeks total to refund us. They would not pick up the phone except once in 7 attempts, took forever to get back to us even when they were not on leave... I cannot emphasise enough how terrible they were. They were no help, and at times it felt like they were actively working against us.
When all the good reviews here are from landlords, you know EXACTLY who they're working for (aside from themselves). We were lucky to have a very kind family letting us the property.
So, I would tread very carefully with these people, and avoid renting through them if you can.
Poor poor appalling.
How do they have a license to run a business is beyond me.

Terrible service, don't look after tenants,
Poor property management. No care, no remorse, happy to take the money but provide no service. Issues ranging all the way from state of bathrooms to appliances, to electricity.
Always end up with the answer speak to this agency its not us.
