Recently sold my house through Smooth Moves and i must say what a positive pleasant experience it was. I'd previously used them for renting my house and found them friendly, professional, reliable & hugely helpful.

So when i decided to sell with them, they'd already set the bar high! ;)

Karen was very helpful and managed to flatten all the waves/ripples before reaching me. She did a great job getting a great price, dealing with the buyer and doing the legwork of seamlessly gluing the whole buy/sell process together.

If i need to buy/sell or rent again i'll definitely be back guys!

Just over three weeks ago, I had a viewing booked for 13:00 with a member of the team. From where I live to the property is an hour by car, so my dad and I set off at 11:00 to ensure that we were not late. However, it became apparent that football traffic would prevent us from making it to the property for 13:00. Therefore, I rang Smooth Moves to explain the situation, apologise, and ask if the agent could wait 20 minutes.

My dad and I were shocked that this member of the team said she was unable to wait for us as Smooth Moves closes at 13:00 (despite the agency requesting that time for our viewing to begin); dismissed our issues with traffic on the grounds that traffic was not an issue for her; did not once apologise for the inconvenience; initially refused to ask the tenant if we could come 20 minutes later and then finally only agreed after my pleading with her; officially cancelled the viewing despite us telling her that we could actually see the property just across the road in front of us; told my dad that he should not tell her how to do her job when he said that she was treating us poorly; and then hung up the phone on my dad who was speaking to her very calmly and politely.

This experience really upset me during what should be an exciting time of buying my first home. Therefore, I emailed the owner of Smooth Moves in the hope that he could ensure that a similar situation does not occur in the future. However, I still have not heard anything from Smooth Moves since the day I was supposed to view the property.
