I had to relocate to Yeovil for work and so turned to Martin & Co Yeovil to rent a property. This was my first time renting a property but they made the whole process a breeze from start to finish. Special thanks to Jessica who helped me throughout the process.

Was an okay place to live however, that apartment needed alot of repairs doing. Was very cold for the winter last year and had to buy a heater, also the water was set on a timer making it difficult to shower at certain times, taking into consideration, finishing a night shift at 10am. Lastly, I was charged for cleaning when I moved out despite getting the place very nasty. I cleaned the best way I could before moving out.

First time looking to rent in Yeovil and Erin was really helpful, offering really good info about what it's like to live there and the characteristics of the neighbourhood. She was also brilliant at slotting me in for a new viewing at the last minute!!

This is a 5 star review for Pete Higgings, the maintenence man, spesifically.
In terms of the general property and helpfulness of Martin & Co, we are fairly happy with the service but feel the place was not given to us in as clean of a standard they may expect once we leave. However, we plan to improve on and keep the property in good order as we continue to live here.
I am writing a review because while we have had quite a few issues in the house that have needed sorting (blocked drains, old broken taps, bad wiring in the shower and a corroded pipe behind the kitchen sink) Pete was wonderful in working all day (and some of hte next morning) to sort all of this for us and is generally a lovely and very capable man who we cannot thank enough for his hard work on the improvements. Martin & Co are lucky to have such a wonderful employee and while we hope to have no more issues we look forward to seeing Pete again if we do.

In the middle of COVID, Returning from France to live back in the uk was a night mare, we emailed and talked to over 50 estate agents around Dorset and over the border into Somerset.
Every call and every email, sorry we are closed or we cannot help you until the lock down has finished and then a very positive young lady called Erin from Martins Estate agent in Yeovil came to our rescue. We had never rented before. Nothing was to much trouble, yes we can help, yes someone can view for you, all the paperwork can be done on line. Terrific service, Erin guided us through the paper work , legal and financial. Arranged a starting date and assured us if we had a problem travelling from France they could change the dates to suit. Also arranged for the keys to be collected by a family member
Once we were in made contact to make sure we were ok. From the get go if we had a concern it was sorted, Martins Team worked with us and the landlord to ensure that any job small or large was taken care of. From a wasp nest to fitting new patio doors . After 2years and 6 months we have decided to move to our own property. Notification to terminate our Tenancy was dealt with in the most professional manner from how to leave the property handing over the keys and getting our deposit back . Any landlord or Tennant should look no further than Martins Estate agents in Yeovil for a professional agent to let or rent property.
