W A Barnes have been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process with me, as a home buyer. Debbie has been absolutely fantastic, I couldn't have asked better from her and the team. She's gone above and beyond for me, she's been so professional with me in a warm and friendly manner that it made me feel like I'm buying a property from a good friend, again, keeping the professionalism at the highest standard. I purchased a property through their auctions in February 2019. The process went through smoothly and I was hugely impressed that W A Barnes does not rip off buyers with massive premiums (like most auction houses nowadays, especially SDL). I would happily buy or sell through them in auction again.

Great service from start to finish. Office staff were polite and efficient. Our Surveyor Tom was very professional and was very patient and knowledgeable answering/explaining the questions my wife and I had. We would highly recommend this company and Tom in particular to anyone needing a survey.

We also viewed our new home with Tom on two different occasions & his knowledge of the property he is selling is second to none. Slow and unresponsive. Quick to arrange a viewing, but then the agent turned up at the wrong address. Viewing took place 30 minutes late and from there the poor communication started. Very quick and happy to take the fee to apply, but it has now been nearly two months since application now with my business partner still not having been told if the application was rejected or not. Luckily a much nicer office was found at a better price in a countryside location. Went from viewing to application to approval in 4 days. Guess it's for the best W A Barnes never bothered to keep us updated.

Excellent service, Tom and the team kept me updated regularly - our purchase was a particularly difficult one, I’m very glad we had it surveyed. The report was comprehensive and thorough and highlighted things I would have not considered - well worth the money. I highly recommended - in fact I already have done to friends and family. Thx

A disgrace of a company. Didn't inform me of multiple offers on my land in Nottinghamshire. Not sure what they were trying to do but pulled the listing and the land has now been sold with another agent. AVOID!!
