Tom and the team were all exactly what we would hope for in an agent. They know their local market well, they are all trustworthy and very personable. We felt at ease leaving them to take control of our sale and the conveyancer they recommended was great. They were all very helpful during the legal process and helped communication go smoothly. We had initially tried to sell with a different agent and got little response, but Tom and the team essentially rescued us. We appreciate their work and would certainly recommend them.

We recently bought a property using Dacre, son and Hartley. The office staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Communication between us and the vendors was handled promptly mainly by Tom the office manager. Anthea from the office showed us around the property and was extremely helpful. She took the time to write out a list of places to visit in the area once the sale progressed. Melanie was also very good at getting back to us about any queries we raised. The new office worker Andrew was very polite and helpful too. Tom has a very efficient and friendly team working in Settle. They are all knowledgeable and appear to take a pride in their working relationships with clients. When the sale was finalised we got a very unexpected gift from the office. They handed us a fabulous gift hamper box which had useful coupons and money off products bought at AO for example. We got £30 off the price of a washing machine. There were chocolates, sweets and washing and cleaning products all of which were very useful. It was such a nice gesture and something we have never had from an estate agent before. Thank you to all the team in Settle for doing such a super job !

We've just completed our house purchase from Dacres in Settle. We have been looking for a house in the Dales for a long time and when we saw this one advertised we made an appoint to view it straight away and made our offer. Tom, Andrew, Mel and Anthea were really good to deal with. Anthea showed us around the house and then Tom talked me through making the offer. We love the house and the area and are so grateful for Dacres assistance. Without them it wouldn't have been possible!
