I had a rather disappointing experience with this firm and instead rented with Belvoir in Hitchin. I made an offer on a property they were renting in Stevenage Old Town, but Was told they needed to check with the landlord about my guide dog because I am registered blind. After being asked to send details of the law to them, I had conversations over a number of days and was eventually informed that the landlord wanted to go with somebody else, supposedly because they were looking for a longer term tenant than 12 months they were offering, and I agreed to. I had email conversations with Mr Bull - Which I do have and I’m happy to produce as may be required, in relation to what appears to be discrimination, but he stopped replying to me. I had taken advice and fully intended to go Legal, but due to my circumstances, I’ve decided the best resolution is to leave this fact-based review it was disappointing that they did not engage properly on this and they are happy to treat someone less favourably. Again, you can challenge me on this people but I have all of the emails and documents.

Had bad experiences with the buyers and their solicitors but Louie remained determined and followed through every query. He was kind and courteous towards myself and my family at all times even when I was getting stressed!

Very disgusted on how they handled me, no respect for time and effort. Had set a viewing at 09 : 30, we were already at the site as we respect everyone's time and commitment, then agent told me tenant was not ready, had to be moved at 13:00, we agreed then we were back on the site again, rang the agency, only to be told that tenant won't allow, not until 14:30 , total no respect for time, effort and commitment.
Agent told me he was trying to call but received no calls to at least have the decency to inform us.

Never recommended. Have let a property and the boiler isn't working. Tried contacting all the contacts provided, but they seem to be least bothered. They say that they'll fix any kind of emergency issues as soon as possible but are now taking 5 days during these winter days. No proper checks have been done before letting the property. If you about to sign the contract, please do your self initiated checks before even signing the contract with them.

We had Homes & Mortgages sell our property, the team were incredibly helpful. We gave them our key and they arranged and conducted all viewings, we were out for all visits. Peter was always just a phone call away to help reassure us or answer questions especially during the trying times of a pandemic. We probably chose the worst time to move but all in all everything worked out OK. I would recommend Homes & Mortgages Stevenage.
