The whole rental process has been incredibly smooth, from offer to contract to move-in, with frequent updates and communication from the team. I feel very lucky to be renting with them.

I had a most horrendous experience with Michael Charles Lettings.

They DID NOT disclose the scope of renovation that was due in big block of flats at Rochester mews corner of Rochester place (NW1 9JB) and did not inform or fixed the many problems that were inside the flat (Intercome, blinds, windows, balcony lights, building works, noise + dust etc). Overall a misleading and dishonest conduct which forced me to make endless complaints to the PRS, to Camden noise pollution and also to the police. I barely had a single day without a problem.

A most shocking and terrifying living conditions for both my little child who was six years old and myself for 20 months.

I had to make several complaints to the PRS theprs.co.uk and for that I was given a total compensation of just £400. I agreed to such a low compensation as I did not have the time, energy or money to go to Court.

We rented for a year with Michael Charles, dealing mostly with Nick and Michael. We had a great experience with them, they were always available and responsive and quickly fixed any issues we had. Most importantly we were never charged for anything more than we expected, no hidden fees at any point of the tenancy. Moreover, they will always take the time to have a chat and calmly discuss any problems or doubts you might be having. They are trustworthy and that is invaluable.

I have had a positive experience with Michael Charles Lettings - having exclusively interacted with Nick. He is responsive and easy to communicate with, and has made the moving process as easy as it could have been. After experiencing different (difficult) London letting agents in the past, I really appreciated having one point of contact for the whole process from flat viewings through to references and contract, and now as a point of contact between us and the landlord. They use a professional external inventory company which is helpful and thorough, and we found the property clean and as we expected. After an electrical problem, he quickly arranged a repair company to come. No complaints! Would recommend.
