Hamptons Estate Agents Stroud

My experience with Hamptons was generally very good. However, my experience with Sarah Parry was absolutely outstanding. As a new buyer to the area I received pretty good service from all the agents I spoke to but dealing with Sarah was special. It goes without saying that she was always efficient, friendly and helpful but I really appreciated the extra support she gave. Things like inside knowledge on the locations, comparative prices from other sales and a very balanced approach to sales pointing out potential drawbacks as well as the advantages. Nothing was too much trouble including meeting us for a last minute viewing on her day off. In the end we did not buy a property from Hamptons and strangely, I felt guilty that I had let Sarah down!

We have recently Sold and bought a property with Hampton's in Stroud. Both sales were difficult and sometimes complex. I must say that the guidance from the team has been fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable and calming. Special mention to Sarah, Ruth, Matt and Abbi who kept us informed all the way.

Hamptons were brilliant. They were very proactive in finding a buyer for my quirky house. Matt, my assigned agent, was extremely efficient and helpful in making sure that the sale went ahead smoothly. Everyone in the Stroud office is friendly and always helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

From the moment we instructed Sarah at Hamptons in Stroud - we could not fault her professionalism. Both Ruth and Sarah always gave us written and verbal confirmation of any prosprective viewings, in addition the feedback from everyone who showed buyers our house was always very quick after the viewings too. We had quite a long drawn out sale, but Sarah was very attentive in keeping us up to date from Hamptons' side of the sale and also reassuring, when needed!

We found Hamptons initially quite hard to get hold of, they had many different agents none of whom managed to truly understand and learn the features of our property. This meant we ended up taking on viewings ourselves. Not what you expect from an international agent. We had a tough sales process and they did work hard at the end to complete it, bit generally it wasn't a great experience with them. I'm sure there are better local agents in Stroud, certainly some seem to be doing very well and getting good feedback. I won't be jumping back to Hamptons in the future, they just aren't worth what you pay.

It has been a pleasure to work with Hamptons. The road to selling wasn't always smooth sailing but the staff there, particularly Matt and Sarah, were quick to respond, reassuring and honest. They were professional and courteous at all times and were always prompt replying to my queries. I would thoroughly recommend selling through Hamptons, whose service has far surpassed a previous attempted sale through another agent. I wouldn't hesitate to sell through the Hamptons Stroud office again and am so grateful for their service.

Sarah at the Stroud Hamptons office was absolutely brilliant and guided us through the whole process of buying our first home. She even helped us find an independent solicitor after we were struggling to find someone that wasn't overcharging us. She was always responsive to our queries and made the time for us when we needed it. Would really recommend.

The lovely ladies at Hamptons in Stroud - Sarah Parry and Gemma Goulding in particular - could not have done more for me. They're incredibly proactive, professional and patient - as well as being efficient and kind. In such a highly charged, competitive housing market, it's so refreshing to have had this kind of service. Our purchase almost de-railed at the end and it was very tricky to negotiate and I simply could not have managed without their support. I just can't praise them highly enough. It's been a tough journey at times, but we successfully navigated it together!
