An abusive disgusting company!!! This company is abusing the vulnerable, the unfortunate and the housing benefit system! I say this because NO ONE in their right mind who was working would rent/pay for such a disgusting property?! Unless one had lost all sense of self and their surroundings! Can't even imagine anyone even on housing benefit wanting to rent this one bed flat?! Though this one bed flat is offered to carers & disable children for emergency accommodation through KCC Dover by First Stop Housing , Who also forwards threatening, deliberate hostile text messages to their tenants which reads as...Good morning, your first property inspection has been booked for Friday 23rd November between 9 am-1 pm. If you cannot be home, we will enter with keys. thank you, First Stop Housing.
I told First Stop Housing unless there is an emergency fire etc, it is actually against the law to enter a property without the tenant present or the tenants permission. But they state back to me that i would find the law is on their side & backs them?! Don't think first stop housing should get a penny out of the benefit system for this property! The condition of the flat when moved inn was unfit for animals, let alone human beings! Which states it all really- Discrimination i think!!! And abuse of the benefit system too! Also other issues like energy fraud, doesn't look like the free holder is paying no electric bill as the communal hallway lighting is wired up to tenant electric meter box! No running cold water out of kitchen tap. No hot water for weeks , though recently notice that hot water only works if you put the central heating on at the same time! If you don't then only cold water runs from tap, but looks like still being charge for it as the boiler still fire up OK! First stop housing leave smelly mouldy mattresses & broken sofa in flat & wont collect this disgusting rubbish! I think the condition of flat when tenant moved inn come under abuse through & through! First stop housing do not care about tenants well being! But just got pound signs in their eyes, focus only on milking the housing benefit system! Having problems uploading footage on google for some reason, so gonna put all picture footage on to Facebook under charlie brown Kent Abuse.

I have been renting two of my properties through First Stop Housing for the last 12 months and very pleased with the service they are providing. Both flats are well looked after and any anything that needs attention is quickly fixed, rent is always on time.

Bronagh at First Stop was fantastic through. Always fair. We have been with them for over 6 years and we felt they were consistent in their support.

I have worked with First Stop for serveral years now, I have found the team to be very professional. It's a shame that there are some negative reviews, I am sure that these would be in a small minority of cases as unfortunately it's not a habit of most of us to post good reviews!

i am in one of this companys houses and i like it. The lady Brona that i call to speak to. i know she is busy sometimes but she always helps me out when i call her.

Very unprofessional, staff are rude and unhelpful, they never pick up there phone. I report issues and takes months to fix. Very poor service

Absolutely disgusting company. House riddled with bugs and freezing cold, kitchen floor damp and smells like fish. Expect me to live here with my newborn and 3 year old!!!

Ask me for dates to book inspection to tell me it has to be sooner and threaten to end my tenancy only to not show up and then agree to my original date!!
