The nature of our situation made me a demanding client but Lisa, Lauren, Hayley and Sharon were always patient and understanding.
We couldn’t have asked for any more from them when it came to promoting the property, and consequently the number of viewings increased significantly. They were helpful and always willing to provide updates.
Once we had accepted an offer they continued to provide support and assistance in pushing the sale through as quickly as possible.
We can’t thank them enough for all their hard work in selling our house and we would absolutely recommend them.
We walked around with her whilst she commented on the excellent condition of the property. All was put back to as it had been when we took it on. We mentioned that the bins would need to be put out - we would have done so but we were handing over on a Friday and the collection wasn't until Monday. She thanked us for making her aware.
All appliances in the kitchen were checked and we were told everything was great and we could leave then whilst the final meter readings were checked. We were advised before we left that the process of returning the deposit would begin that afternoon and we should have it within a couple of days.
At this point we thought it was a good experience.
The beginning of the following week however, after chasing, we received the email with the meter readings but were also told we needed to pay for the oven to be professionally cleaned and that the bins needed to be emptied! We reiterated about the previous conversation about them being put out and that it had been confirmed that the property was in good order and the full deposit was to be returned and have sent numerous emails since as well as many phone calls but no one is responding.
They still have our deposit if over £1000 and we are very concerned as they will not speak to us. They have moved new clients into the house so we know they are making money from it whilst keeping ours.
On reflection, I would say to a potential customer that their approach is disingenuous and untrustworthy based on this experience.
My tenants were upset & not informed that R&R had changed their bank details!
All of my tenants ended up in arrears, through no fault of their own.
One reported work they needed doing at the property to R&R several times, which l was never notified of.
I am absolutely sick of trying to communicate with this company & being ignored & so are my tenants.
Just glad to see the back of them.
