The best Soul, R&B, and Jazz record shop in London! Floor to ceiling vinyl and CDs, regular in-store PAs and signings. Also checkout their weekly show on Solar radio. Maurice and Lawrence are fonts of knowledge, and you'll always get a warm welcome every visit. A must if you're looking for either brand new releases or a rare classic - highly recommended.

Great shop, Laurence and his team are very helpful. I have been introduced to some great music as well as good sounding quality vinyl from the team .

Ref order number 29082.
Hi
I was wondering when my order will arrive? I purchased a vinyl album (first choice) on June 5th. I have emailed you for an update a couple of days ago but got no reply.

Well it's now June 19th and still no delivery of my order. Looking at the reviews, it's obvious to me that their online business is bad. Also their customer service is poor as well. I have just contacted PayPal and opened a request for a refund. Needless to say, my refund was issued within minutes of me opening the request. That's something that's never happened before. Usually when you open a resolution request,it can take a few days or more to get a reply from the seller about what is going on or what went wrong. So this tells me all I need to know about this record shop's online business.
Awful. Avoid buying from them online.

It's like stepping back in time. Large stock of Jazz, Blues, Soul as well as Reggae. Vinyl and cds. If you have a turntable, go there.

Great record shop with awesome selection of not just Soul records. Have been excellent for ordering vinyl from all genres.

My friend bought a record for my birthday online and she never received it. This was back in September this year 2022. After sending numerous messages to their Facebook page, contact form on the website, email's and phone calls neither of us have had any reply at all! We're both being totally ignored and there's no sign of getting the money back!
Absolutely shocking customer service, do not buy anything online from them as if you have a problem you will just be ignored!

Ordered a record with very expensive delivery for my friend's birthday that never arrived! Phone call after phone call after email after email after Facebook message and no response ?! I cannot understand if this is even a genuine shop or some kind of scam. Very upset that a) the item never arrived and b) there seems to be no way of getting the money back! Utter rip off DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PDOPLE.

Dreadful place. They list items as in stock, when they are not in stock. They don’t respond to customer queries or, when they do, they are patronising and condescending. I ordered a record from this place, no sign after two weeks so I got in touch. Received a very patronising email back after ten days, stating that there was a mix up with the record and that it had two records instead of one. It’s a double vinyl you total spanner, what on earth are you talking about?!? Countless attempts to get this sorted or to get a refund ignored by Larry, I even phoned and had the phone put down on me.

There are plenty of decent, honest record shops out there to enable you to leave this one well alone. I would highly recommend that you shop elsewhere, as these guys are dishonest and will happily take your money, ignore you and leave you high and dry.

I’d rather give my money to Amazon and Jeff Bezos than Dodgy Larry, I would recommend you do too. Or find another, better, independent record shop. There’s plenty out there for you!

Updated 17/01/22 - Great to hear from you guys! However, as this is the first time you’ve got in touch since May 2021, I’ll take your apologies with a small pinch of salt. Can I ask, what’s the point in having a “Contact Us” section on your website if you don’t actually respond to contacts? Why does it take a public Google review before you actually engage with your customer? Poor, poor, poor customer service.
