Booked for a video shoot in the live room. Such a nice facility. For a small rehearsal room / studio facility it really looks and feels professional. Especially compared to many I've been to recently that are a complete dump!! Nice atmosphere, easy to find, loads of parking, nice PA, room gear looks pretty good (although we didn't need it) and the guys running the place were very pleasant and generous. I would definitely recommend to anyone in Southampton or in the surrounding areas. It's worth a little drive for a nice experience.

The team are extremely friendly, knowledgable and also professional. Nick showed me the ropes in the studio, and Louis sorted the accomodation, both of which we couldn’t be happier with.
Their amazing centrepiece, the API 1608 desk is wonderful to work on, what a great sound. With a host of DAWs, plugins, amp heads, cabs, combos, drum kits, Guitars, Percussion, pedals and a sizeable live room....this studio really is perfect for any musician. Not to mention their large and quality-packed range of microphones!
As an engineer and producer, the studio layout was great for workflow. The equipment was top quality, and easy to work with. Everything we recorded/used sounded spot on, and high quality.
The accomodation also was spot on. A private house with access to kitchen, 3 comfy beds, bathroom and shower...and 5min drive from the studio.
All round couldn’t ask for more!
I’ll be bringing clients back to Quay West in the near future!

I previously used these guys to mix a track I recorded elsewhere and was happy, so happy in fact I visited today! The nicest people you will ever meet coupled with sheer professionalism. A rare quality these days. Everything from their rooms, equipment to even their kettle was brilliant! Whatever you're looking for, musically, writing, recording and/or producing. I can't recommend Quay West enough!
