Big Fig Studio

Recorded 5 drum tracks at Big Fig Studio and I could not be happier with the final result. Great equipment, good variety of drums, snares and mics for any sound you are aiming to achieve.

Jake (studio engineer/owner) is very helpful, approachable and in my case being a drummer himself, he really tailored the session towards getting the best drum sound to fit the songs using his experience and knowledge.

The studio day rate is fantastic and whether you are a solo artist or in a band sharing costs, the studio offers a great day rate that is easily achievable for any budget. With the variety of kits and mics you are in no doubt going to get an awesome sound quality.

Jake was nothing less than outstanding as a sound engineer and producer for the recording of my track. He made myself & the rest of the band feel at home straight away, which in turn, I think, led to us to capturing our best performances whilst recording. His knowledge of the industry and recording equipment also played a huge role in the success of the recordings & I can’t wait to go back for the next track!!

My time at Big Fig Stuidio personally, and as a band, couldn't have been any better. Jake was extremley welcoming and helpful in advising us about the studio process. He gave professional suggestions about how to create our desired sound and we were all very happy with how high quality the song sounded.

Absolutely stellar experience.

I have never worked with anyone as professional, friendly, and committed as Jake. Not only is he an extremely talented engineer and producer, but he is also a passionate musician and all round amazing artist who will go above and beyond to ensure you get the very best from the session.

It is clear that he absolutely loves music and what he does, and that comes across in the insanely high standard that is reflected in the quality of the work he does as an engineer and contributions he makes as a producer.

I have recorded a number of times at Big Fig Studios. Both for videos / audio of my original songs, and a show reel for function work too. Honestly could not recommend Jake enough. He is great at what he does, manages the time booked efficiently and is also one of the loveliest guys I’ve ever met. Pretty much a dream to work with!

Jake was an absolute pleasure to work with. He's a real professional. Not only in terms of the quality he delivers in his productions, also the communication was on point. And if that isn't already convincing enough, he is also a really great guy!
