Stellar studio!! Our band recently spent 5 days recording here and simply cannot say enough good things about it. The place itself is a spacious building with fantastic natural acoustics (highly recommended for drums) and light, both very inspiring in creative situations. An ideal place to work during the day and relax by the fireplace at night if you're staying for a few days (available accommodation is affordable and very comfortable). It also has the benefit of being located in a small village with lovely country walks on your doorstep, which is truly refreshing before or after long sessions.
Excellent recording gear and desk run by Mike, a talented, friendly and enthusiastic engineer (here's to you!) - not to mention the gorgeous Chappell grand piano, a personal favourite. We captured great sounds together and Mike worked tirelessly and was extremely supportive of our vision.
The wonderful staff treated us like friends from the start. Anneliese & Co are the most welcoming, helpful and generous people - you don't find folks like this in many recording studios! The two house dogs ambling around the studio in the evenings were the final touch for the cosiest, most enjoyable atmosphere.
We miss it already and would undoubtedly recommend the experience to anybody who is looking for somewhere to record music in a lovely space with lovely people. Long live GCS!

5* studio, 5* live room, 5* gear, 5* people, 5* dogs. Overall: FIVE STARS. We had such a wonderful experience with Liese and Mikey, recording and filming our songs in a genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Studios are often cramped, dark, lifeless... not this one! 🙌🙌🙌

Really great studio. Analise and Mike are both really awesome in what they do and also as individuals. Two studio dogs Zebbie and Brady always around to have a cuddle if your in-between thoughts in a session.
The chappel is the live room with a very special and unique sound for vocals and other acoustic instruments, a sound like no other. If your looking to sweeten things up a bit they also have a state of the art booth which can be used to achieve a standard studio close dry sound.
Backline includes a grand piano, upright, Hammond organ (with Leslie speaker), Vintage Vox AC30, Fender amp, small Gretch amp, Marshall, and a handful of great guitars too!
The control room is a nice space to chill whilst things are being done with a nice leather sofa and low lighting.
Absolutely amazing experience recording my EP here. I definitely recommend for any style of project. It is fully equipped!

Brilliant, friendly approachable staff with a thorough understanding and knowledge of their system, a keen musicality that really shines through with their in house production. In short, one of my favourite recording studios in the entire country, I would not hesitate to use them for any recording or production work.
