We had a last minute opportunity for a night away, and we made the most of it. The reception staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and special! In particular Agnes! Nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel itself is beautiful, the grounds are stunning as soon as you arrive you feel an air of relaxation.

We can't wait to return to this special place.

What a nice place to enjoy your weekend. It's beautiful, amazing and comfortable. You are going to relax around luxury and excellent service by the staff.

There are a lot of activities that you can do. Pools, spas, green areas and a lot of things that you can see and enjoy in company of your family and friends.

Service is good, all the staff are helpful and friendly. You can breathe an atmosphere of comfort and happiness in every inch of this paradise

My partner and I had a very relaxing weekend here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were great with the heated pool providing a perfect end of day experience. We enjoyed our meals and truly liked the food. Service throughout was excellent. Plenty of hiking trails on and off the property. Bring your tennis racquets to enjoy the courts (we wished they weren’t black top but they did the job). Loved the ping pong tables, well manicured grounds, corn hole, and garden games. We will definitely be back. Perfect way to reset after a long week.

I booked on a spa day @ Champneys in Tiring with my sisters. Given the that this is supposed to be a 5* luxury spa it certainly does not live up it. It lacked hospitality and service was extremely poor. The spa staff were cold and unwelcoming. Apart from the quiet area (which was not actually quiet) there was no other place to actually wind down and relax. The lights were extremely bright, the place smelt like chlorine, and no light music. It was cold in areas where there was seating to 'relax' and it wasn't very comfortable.
I won't be recommending Champneys in Tiring to anyone. Not worth the price for what is on offer.
The grounds are absolutely stunning and the company was great as always.

Not a Luxury Spa

It’s small, grimy and there are nowhere near enough beds to relax on.

When I go to a spa I like to be able to find a comfortable place to stretch out with a cup of tea and piece of cake. I’ll read books and dip in and out of nice clean pools. I expect gentle lighting, and soft music. I also like to be able to get water easily.

None of these things were available at Champney’s. The areas were small and cramped, there wasn’t any side tables, or a way to enjoy a quiet cup of tea and read a book. There was no music, it was bright and smelled strongly of chlorine. In fact there was so much chlorine in the hydro pool that my eyes were stinging like crazy in minutes of being in there.

There were dirty towels everywhere and the main swimming pool was utilitarian at best.

Not a relaxing experience and certainly not worth the premium price tag. Opt for Nirvana Spa if it’s not too far. It’s absolutely wonderful!

Oh, this place is beautiful. I had a two day stay, and made full use of the exercise classes and gym facilities.
Three well equipped gyms include a boxing space, smaller workout pod and a mid-size gym. Plenty of room for use of free weights and skipping.
The larger pool is very clean and very mildly chlorinated (much less than other indoor pools- it felt like a lido). The hydro-pool area has an outdoor spa pool and a waterfall in the indoor area!
The grounds, visible from the spa pool are well laid out and very tidy.
Food is healthy, so small-ish (but adequate portions) and the 'light' variant of sauces and desserts. I feel this is fantastic and very suited to an exercise regime.
All in all a very pleasant stay, and already looking forward to coming back.

A great time at Champneys for our return visit. Things are still great and actually may have got even better! I have seen a further improvement in the service level and the room was lovely. David served us for all of our meals and he was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us.
