Having been to Potters at Hopton many times we had the chance to go to Five Lakes in Essex, so glad we did, we were greeted with friendly smiles from members of the staff in reception.
We stayed in the hotel, room was OK although they are due to be refurbished in the future, bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities, wide screen TV, lovely white fluffy towels in the bathroom,.
Restaurant was bright and airy, food quality and choices from the menu was excellent plus not forgetting the waitresses who looked after us.
The shows in the evening were excellent all performers worked hard with all the costume changes, top notch.
All the activities to be had whether inside or outside were very good, so many to have a go at if never done before.
Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Had a great time at Five Lakes, plenty of activities to keep us occupied during the day. All inclusive in the UK, wow a bonus. Evening show was geared towards the very senior market but still enjoyable.
Food was very nice,
Entertainment team excellent,
Theatre team appeared quite stuck up (Diva syndrome)
Bar/waiting staff excellent
Reception excellent
Rooms Good (bedrooms nice but bathroom need updating)
Swimming pool Bad, not wheelchair friendly, changing room was a joke

Would definitely return here as found the overall experience really good. Special mention to Lucy (archery/rifles)

First time at Potters. Five lakes is newly opened so there was still some work going on.
Bedroom was a good size with views over the golf course, but was a bit dated, especially the en-suite.
All staff we met were very friendly, food was good & we thought the evening shows were very professional.
We did a wide range of activities during the day including par 3 golf, shooting, boating & off road karts.
Good range of drinks ordered from an order point & delivered to your table.

Our first time at Potters Five Lakes for a two night taster break. A bit of a "country road" journey to get here but well worth it. Everything was excellent, plenty of daily activities if you felt that way inclined, also plenty of quiet spots to read and enjoy the views. The entertainment could not be better and the show put on by the Potters Theatre Company was as good if not better than some West End shows and some cruise ship ones. The added bonus was that it was All Inclusive, so no need to take any money!!!! Well worth it and we look forward to our next visit.

What an amazing place fantastic staff who smile genuinely all the time. The food was limited but of a high quality. The entertainment had something for everyone. More of an adult destination bit kids are allowed. Got to say it was nice not having any children around.

Would 100% go again

All the staff were happy and extremely efficient friendly and all gave great service. Our room was very clean and well presented and comfortable. Every meal was of very good quality and gave plenty of choice. All the drinks were plentiful and available sll day. All the public rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The evening entertainment was varied and of top quality with the Potters team were full of energy and the singing and dancing of a very high quality. We would recommend a holiday in this resort we would like to return.

We had a fab time at Potters. Loads to do and plenty of entertainment.
We're both vegan and the chef made a point of meeting up with us on arrival and sorted a bespoke menu for the stay. The staff were great as well.
Excellent stay all round.
