The Smokehouse Ormesby

Amazing venue, live music, the entire place is just fantastic, our server Roxy was so lovely and friendly she made us feel so welcome. The starters were quite small for the price but I wouldn’t let that stop you from going as the food is incredible we had the sliders and the brisket for mains and chicken tostados and burnt ends for starters.

Arrived here without booking on really busy night, peak season August.
All the staff were really lovely and sorted a table for the four of us quickly.
Food great, hot, loads of it, varied menu, something for everyone. Highly recommended, worth the drive to it. We will definitely be returning, good job Smokehouse, well done.

Came here for the first time last night. Family really enjoyed the food. Will definitely come again. Really good choice on the menu. Burgers were massive. Only given 4 stars as service was a little slow. We had to ask bar staff a couple of times for the same thing as they kept forgetting.

Visited last week whilst on holiday.
Lovely day so we sat outside (although initially they seemed reluctant to serve outside!) as they have a huge outside seating area.
The food was amazing, the selection on the menu was huge and what we had was very tasty.
They have done a great job in creating a fun Americana feel to both the outside and interior.
Will definitely be back next year! 👍🍔😎

Went on a Thursday afternoon (2pm) late lunch.
Had the route 66 burger. Great food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Probably need to book at busier times.

As a walk in we were unsure if we should have booked as it was the first question we were asked (have you got a booking).
Plenty of free tables, nothing reserved and were told to sit wherever we wanted.
Got our drinks, sat down only to be asked 5 minutes later if we could move to the other side ??

No problem but better communication between staff members would help.
Some of the younger staff were a bit unprofessional discussing a night out and shouting.
I guess experience in hospitality can't be taught and will come in time.
Overall experience I've given 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Despite the bill being wrong twice we got a buy one get one free afternoon deal we were also unaware of.
Definitely be going back despite the issues as the food and portions were fantastic. 👍

Saw the restaurant advertised on a roundabout advertisement board. Glad I spotted it as we had a fantastic meal! The food was cooked to perfection and tasted even better. So much choice on the menu, would definitely come back again. Our server Michelle was very friendly and helpful too.

This is the best American food, I have ever had. Came here whilst on holiday, from the old American cars outside, the themed interior inside was very authentic. All I can say is the food was amazing and I would recommend to anyone. Prices slightly on the higher side, but for the ambience and food quality definitely 100% worth it.

We decided to visit again, after visitinga few weeks before. Made to feel welcome on arrival, booked table online for myself & boyfriend, but forgot to put down we had our dog. But the staff were very accommodating & found us a table. Place has a warm & welcoming feel to it, staff are very friendly, helpful & polite. Food was amazing & delicious. Really lovely place to eat & drink. Great place all round, can't fault anything. Highly recommend & will definitely visit again. Definitely deserves more than a 5 star rating.
