35 years since I first visited the Cross Keys and wow how it has changed.

Lovely setting, staff, food (had a BLT and Chicken salad) & atmosphere and with it being dog friendly (in the bar) I will be visiting again.

First visit very beautiful setting . Staff were very friendly. We ordered sandwiches and baguette with Chips . Must say it was very delicious and good value for money plenty of choice of draught lager and ales definitely will return.

Lovely pub with friendly staff. The meals were excellent and large portions too. Only criticism and it's my problem! is that the room got extremely hot as there are no opening windows, but a spell outside sorted me out! I would most definitely eat there again. 👍😋

The cross keys Inn is set in the countryside yet still manages to attract a good number of locals. Lots of accommodation on site if you want to stay over for the night or longer if you're visiting the area. So the clientele tends to be a mix of locals, whole families, mum's dad's kids, brothers, sisters, their dogs and visitors to the area staying in the inns comfortable accommodation. The staff is very friendly and the food is very tasty. The only slight negative is the noise level. There are no soft furnishings so in the evening when the pub is full of people it's very very loud. My head was ringing when I got out of there, but I'd be happy to visit again at quieter time.

We stayed in one of the on site cottages which was excellent so warm and cosy. We had a meal on the Saturday night with our two dogs joining us. From walking in we were made so welcome and there was treats for the dogs and a water bowl bought to us. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Thanks for a lovely stay and meal

What a find we had gone for a drive and came across this hidden gem. we called in for a drink and we were met with such friendly but professional staff my wife ordered a prawn sandwich with chips (which were so tasty ) the food was very well presented and extremely flavoursome. We had a walk around the bar and restaurant which in my opinion was one of the cleanest places I have visited I will post an update on the Crosskeys by next week as we were so impressed we booked a table for next Saturday from what I have seen so far I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment
