Beautifully decorated, gorgeous location and well planted tidy grounds. Some people have commented on the price in the past but it seems fair for the quality of the food. A marked improvement from what used to be at this location. Served by "Yorkshire Josh" who was polite, attentive and welcoming. He also had an eye for detail in tidying after customers who thought leaving an ashtray in the grounds where it could enhance the sun's rays and pose a fire risk. Refreshing to see in someone of his age group!

Beautiful view and well maintained building. However, service was dreadful. Ended up clearing our own table as seagulls were landing on it. After putting salt on my fries, I realised that the salt shaker had 3 dead ants in. For a place as posh as this, you expect salt to be the only thing inside the salt shaker.

Always said this place looked nice every time we drove past on the way to the beach! It did not disappoint! We were a large group of 9 and I managed to book it on the day via the website. Chose to eat in the conservatory and it was very pleasant. Windows all opened up so it wasn't stuffy. Menu choice was great for both adults and kids and not too overpriced. Cocktails were 2 for £12 which was a bonus! Husband and I shared the Chateaubriand (a special that day) and it was amazing.

We had a small issue with one of our meals but it was rectified quickly. Staff very welcoming and friendly.

Highly recommend this place and will certainly return again next time we are down that way.

Most recommended dish has to be the mushrooms on toast. Tastes amazing! Nice relaxed place to eat and drink. Dog friendly in bar and garden area.

We went on Boxing Day (which we had to book in advance). We were shown to our table as soon as we arrived, however we waited over 20 minutes before being offered a drink, even then we had to call someone over to take our order. Despite this slow beginning the rest of the service was excellent and the food fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Hadn't been here for many years and decided to stop in for dinner last week. All the food was fantastic, the service was great, and we'll definitely be going back again! Also was nice to get drink recommendations from the bar staff - great stuff!
