The Windmill Inn

I dropped in to the Windmill Inn for a quick audit of their wines and took my partner along, as we’d heard the food was good.

Wednesday is the Pie or Pizza night and my partner ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and I had the Chicken, Garlic, Bacon and Dijon Pie.

Both were absolutely fantastic and for both meals and a drink each it came to less than £35!

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff, would definitely recommend and visit again!

We popped in here on the off chance we could get a table as have always heard good things! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and we were sat at a table in no time.
We both had three courses and the service was fantastic. The Sunday roast was absolutely delicious - I recommend both the beef and the pork (my Roast was the Windmill 2 meat special so I got both!) Great portions and selection of veggies on the side.
We'll be returning to check out the mid-week menu too!

Amazing place , fantastic food. Amazing ice cream and takeaway pies. Would give it more than 5 stars if i could. Pefect atmosphere and amazing people. Make sure you go find this place. Best we have been to. Thank you.

Had a wonderful Saturday afternoon at the Windmill, it was recommended to us by friends and we're so glad we took their advice. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great and the food was absolutely first class. And we enjoyed the live entertainment very much, we would definitely recommend a visit to the Windmill, we'll be back very soon.

My wife and I stopped n at the Windmill Inn for lunch.

The building itself is a strange mix of original building and modern additions. There is plenty of parking and an outdoor area. The bar area has comfy sofas that would be perfect to drink a coffee and read. The restaurant area where my wife and I sat is light and airy.

The lunchtime food menus were a choice of pizzas and sharing options. The pizza my wife chose was freshly made to her choice and approx 14” across. My sharing options were not overly large but quite enough to leave me full for the rest of the day. The quality of all choices we made were excellent.

The whole visit was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly without hovering and the environment has been created to offer a nice, relaxed and enjoyable place to relax.

Would I go again - If I get the chance, yes.

Our family got lunch in here. The food is very delicious and our family did enjoy in here. We are so impressed with their menu xx. Highly recommended for family lunch x.

First experience and certainly will not be the last. Full scores for excellent food, the staff. The atmosphere was amazing. The background music was perfection. This hidden gem is out shining all their competitors. Loved the whole experience. The food was to die for.
