Firstly, the star rating is purely about the food in the beer hall. Secondly, the whole place is a fantastic set up and has been done so well. The beer hall is a sight to behold with top staff. Not a bitter/ale fan but whatever your taste, there is something for everyone, selection is huge. The farm shop is fab and we are going back to stay at the hotel at some point. Returning to the food, it was average I'm afraid, the sandwich wasn't great and the cheese and onion pie seemed microwaved...filling was divine but the pastry shouldn't be floppy, you can't get that in an oven ( point to note, i bought 3 of the same pies from the farm shop before eating and if they turn out like that, i will edit this review). Now, to the Chip and Gravy Chef, absolutely bang on...no complaints.

Great complex in an old mill. Loved the old machinery and steelwork. Had food ot was great, the real ale was lovely. Had a walk round the food Hall which had some really interesting food and drink! I'm going to give it a go and stay here soon to fully appreciate the site!

Vast amount of beers and ciders! Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for tourists, imagine it gets busy at certain times.

Lovely place to have a drink but we waited ages to be served and was quite pricey.

The food was great and they changed the bun to sourdough upon my dads request with no issues since he isn't a fan of brioche. We noticed another burger used that type. The staff were nice and the interior was so fascinating.

Pub classics and craft (ish) beers. I had a lot of fun here.

If you are looking for somewhere to get a quick bite and experience some local beer, then Bowlsnd in Clitheroe is a food place to start.

Lots of Vegetarian options, but was quite greasy - which is not a bad thing.

Great beer hall with industrial atmosphere. Huge selection of beers. Food is standard pub fare but very good quality. Large outside area when the weather is fine. There is 3hrs free parking if you can find a space. Great for families during the day or a relaxed night out
