Sequence is a new restaurant opened in Watford that serves a fusion of East African and traditional Indian dishes. They do a very good selection of dishes, veg/non veg, small bites, big dishes etc. I was very impressed with the quality of the food. The chicken was well bbq’d and all the dishes were full of rich flavours, spicy, tangy, sour, crispy. A lot of effort had gone into the prep. Very generous with their portions, reasonably priced. It’s a nice big restaurant, they’ve resisted the urge to pack in the tables so you feel it’s open and spacious. Parking in the area can be a little limited. Excellent and friendly service.

Family orientated restaurant. Fantastic dishes. The staff were helpful. Many choices on the menu veg and non-veg. Kid-friendly, Wheelchair and disabled access. Food and service was excellent. The food was served piping hot, extra chutney provided on request. The restaurant is nice and cosy, clean and well maintained. Very generous portions for reasonable price. There is ample seating area. This restaurant also does catering for large or small orders.

Attended with my family of four. Unfortunately slow service, the fresh passion juice was great. The kari kebab portion was small, just three, but tasted authentic. The Zanzibar mix was okay and the paani puri was average. The malai chicken was burnt and the mushkaki was a tiny portion. I wouldn’t advise going out of your way for this place but if you’re in the area, give it a try.

Amazing experience. Flavours I've never tasted but my mouth was very much on a rollercoaster ride to heaven. The price of the bill was a shock when we realised we stuffed our faces full for 30 quid. Well worth a visit and apologies because we forgot to tip so promise a double tip next time. Thanks again to the lovely waitress who gave us all the recommendations...we will be back!

An absolute treasure in Watford!

From succulent mixed grilled platters in an East African speciality to the awesome array of Indian starters.

Would highly recommend reserve so as not to be disappointed!

We've also had them cater for events at home and your guests will be amazed!

Sunday special today. Haleem and meat samosas. Haleem is sumptuously delicious and what a lovely taste and texture. Meat samosas were very nice too. A lovely Sunday meal. Lovely choice of breakfast in Saturday and Sunday mornings.

My parents booked Sequence after my civil wedding for us and our guests, as we have been here a number of times as the food and service is incredible. I am so glad they booked to go here, everyone loved the food! It’s all very authentic, home cooked food. Their Zanzibar mix is a big favourite for my mum and dad as it reminds them of back home.

We also booked Sequence to make lamb curry for us for the evening after my Indian wedding and again the curry was delicious. All our guests enjoyed the food and said it tasted like it had been made at home.

Overall service of Sequence is amazing. Ali and Erika are so welcoming and it literally feels like they are family every time we go to Sequence. By far one of our favourite restaurants!

We had Meat Samosa, Lamb Chops, Karahi Gosht (curry), Meat Biryani, garlic naan and Kids Menu Chicken tikka, chips and apple juice. The food was tasty, with quick service and very friendly. Would definitely return to try different meals.
