Went for Mother's day, we were really well looked after. Fantastic home cooked food, lovely friendly staff, who made us feel really special. I would highly recommend the White Horse. A great time had by all at a reasonable price brilliant 👏

A nice pub just outside of ware. Sue who runs it is a Greek Cypriot and She cooks some lovely Greek dishes. A large car park by the side . And some nice local beers.

We visited The White Horse on the 31st October for the amazing Halloween party.
The whole team made such an effort with the decorations, the games the food boxes for the kids and all for free!
What an amazing turn out they had.
So gutted we didn't get to stay for dinner as we had to leave due to a tired toddler but we will be in for dinner soon.
We do live 45 mins away but the food is so good we will travel jyst to get some.
Well done guys brilliant 👏
EDIT * Went to eat today 13-11
never dissapointed. Generous portions, lovely homemade greek dishes, the most amazing homemade chips and tomato rice. Amazing 👏

The staff at the establishment are awesome, curtious, kind attentive and quite frankly very plesant.

I came out today for my partners birthday it was a disaster so how did we end up there?

We were both hungry as we had not eaten all day and we had been walking around the wonderful sights of Ware.

The food was served after about 30 minutes all good but the quality was poor at the start, the Mosaka tasted funky, I thought it was just some Regional style but then my partner said the seafood was undercooked, the mussels. Not a good sign and we should have stopped but as I say we were hungry.

Leaving the mussels we just stuck into the cooked chicken, the Sausage starter and I tried to deconstruct the mosaka to take out the bad taste. I removed all the aubergines even though the menu states its made with potato, it looked like a layer of chips, mosaka mince then a layer of aubergine. I just could not fix it so I left half the meal.

Then the final insult my parter did not pass the 20 minutes taste test, she felt dodgy at the table so left her half drink and we split, then when we got home as soon as we open the front door she hurleď and then I don't know if it was the food, her being sick or what but I hurled as well. Vomit all over the floor.

Sadly we did raise the quality of the food issue with the owner and the uncooked seafood but they did not respond well just charged us £47 quid for the pleasure.

We choose this venue because of corona its out of the way quite and very covid19 secure, sanitiser at the door and tables spaced wide apart.

I would just say you taste their wares and see what you think, be honest in your reviews there is no failure only feedback I hope they listen.

I videoed the evening from entering the pub to leaving as part of a video treat for my partner as I am a filmmaker, but I just think I'll leave it as a raw footage archive.

A big thank you to Sue and her team for making our wedding anniversary day special. From start to finish your hospitality was a very relaxed and homely atmosphere. The food was amazing and we all left full and content. Will definitely return now we have found this little gem in Wareside. Thanks again for making us all feel welcome.

I have not been here for a very long time! So I was pleasantly surprised, that the garden has had some care and attention and looks great!
It's a good example of how Britain pub garden should be! A space for children and good tables that do not wobble.
The food is a Greek menu which is a bit pricey for the quality, but it is good. At the moment it is table service and it's advised you ring ahead to get a table, but not always necessary.

The toilets are inside which works one in one out. With a vacant/ Engaged sign!

Beautiful location surrounded by fields.

We will be back! 👍😊

The pub itself, whilst very pokey, is fine. Few tiny rooms, cramped ceilings and badly decorated but typical for a pub I guess. The outdoor bits got a lot of space and a bit of a climbing frame which kept the kids entertained for 5 minutes. But oh my, the service. The two women I had short interactions with were so outstandingly rude. And were rude to every member of our party at least twice each. I’ve never know anything liked it. We called ahead and asked if there was room for 9 (6 adults/3 children) in the garden and they said yes. Then from the minute we arrived it was as if they were furious we had come. Spoke to us terribly, made out like we were a huge problem they had to deal with. Was just miserable and negative. The food was overpriced, overcooked, cold and tasteless. Could be a nice place… under new management.
