Yanto's Pancake House

Awful. Ordered the pulled pork pancake but got served this instead. We knew there was no coleslaw so it was substituted for 2 sausages, but there was no mozzarella as it stated there would be and the pork was completely inedible. They put very cheap cheddar on as well and the presentation was awful. The pancake themselves were nice but the toppings could not be eaten.

Really enjoyed this indie pancake house. I had the pancake stack with crispy bacon and maple syrup, accompanied by a cappuccino.
Used a Gloucester Gift Card and earned some Mi Rewards Gloucester points too.

Nice vegan waffle and savoury crepe! Soya hot chocolate and tea was great too. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu.

Great gluten free and vegan menu. We had gluten free pancakes with chicken, bacon and avocado plus gluten free waffle with bacon, egg, sausage and maple syrup. Delicious!
Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the taste but not the texture of the pancakes that were extremely sweet.
Honestly, I expected more after reading all those positive feedbacks.
In my opinion quality/price, just don’t worth it.

I absolutely love this place! I take my daughter there nearly every Saturday for pancakes (savoury & sweet). The staff are very helpful & welcoming & the food is unbelievably delicious! The prices are very reasonable too; can’t recommend highly enough.

Positives : the staff were AMAZING . Very helpful and friendly. The latte was really enjoyable and tasty and the sizings were good.
The amount of food was just right and the bacon and sausages tasted ok.
The toilets were clean and accessible.
The staff seated us next to a mini heater incase we were cold which we could turn off after we had warmed up a bit .
Negatives: the pancakes were awful . After a fair few bites my mouth felt tingly and I thought I was having a reaction . My companion also said they had a weird taste and terrible after taste . I spoke to the staff and they thanked me for letting them know because the bicarb/Baking powder may have been too high . They offered us both something else to eat but as we were in a hurry they took the pancakes off the bill. They were fabulous about the whole thing and very apologetic (these things happen so don't sweat it !)
Overall I would give them another go and say it was a no bones day for the pancakes .

The best pancakes I’ve had for a long time, better than a chain restaurant one’s locally. Will be back very soon!
