Been to quite a few Harvester especially last year traveling up too Newcastle .
Never been to the Staunton Arms thou ..
Nice friendly place really nice staff ,nothing was too much bother .
Valentine's Day so a broad spectrum of clients in the restaurant.
Noticed especially a young family sat near to us and how well they were looked after .
Really liked the games pack they gave for the children to play snakes n ladder,s very retro but still fun :)
Our food was excellent and the service was prompt and efficient.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly.
The venue is clean n tidy ..don't normally
Photo toilets but the gents was exceptionally bright n clean lol
Ps Chris and Esme were wonderful hosts.. a credit to Harvester :)

Absolutely terrible got a dirty dish for the salad cart so got it replaced with another dish that was dirty too so I said forget the salad, I was put off by then, then my main came out cold both adults meals were cold kids meals were fine so I jus had ours taken off bill and waited for kids to eat theirs, and got a takeaway, normally good in here but this was the worst ever, oh and look at this picture, it sums up our meal

food is nice, the salad bar is always helpful in deciding which restaurant to use. Your pork belly is better than many places.
The only negative was service, it took far too long for someone to take our drinks order, by that time we were ready to order mains also and then when we finished it was hard to find the right person to pay, the people working there were all polite and helpful but probably short staffed

Wonderful place, a cosy and popular place! The atmosphere was calm the service was fantastic, the food gorgeous. A great selection of dishes offered including Vegan. Didn't break the bank which is always a good thing! Will definitely come back here.

Enjoyed our breakfast with Santa. Great breakfast at a good price. Had to wait a long time to be seated, 20 minutes plus perhaps due to Santa but this was frustrating with a small hungry child. Nice table in a nook but felt on top of the other patrons and heads hit the light fittings when getting in and out.

All the staff were so polite and nothing was to much trouble. The traditional breakfast was ample with unlimited toast and preserve. Only problem was the tiny table with 4 seats around it. We had to rearrange the table so we could use 3 of the seats as 2 were wedged by the window and next to a piller

It was very busy, food was okay. Peas were cold on a friend's plate, no one was overly impressed with the food, steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) but very gristly. Loaded chips were very nice. Chicken was quite dry. Meals were just okay. Staff were all amazing, helpful and quick, very kind. Plenty of choice at the salad bar.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Dogs allowed in the bar area. Lovely relaxed place to eat. Nothing is too much trouble. The food was hot and nicely cooked plus reasonably priced. Thank you for creating a pleasant place to meet up with friends.
