We came here on a Thursday evening with a Groupon deal (as the other guests seemed to have done) - 7 courses and glass of prosecco for just over £20 per head seemed too good to be true, but the great reviews meant that we had to try it. I'm sorry to say that despite our reasonably low expectations, we left feeling very disappointed. When we arrived at the restaurant 45 mins after opening there was one other table of two and the chef was hurriedly waiting - there were no other staff (the waitress was apparently running late) and there was no atmosphere (though we figured we were early and it would hopefully pick up - besides 2 other couples, it didn't). The waitress arrived soon after the chef served our drinks and then 6 courses (not 7 - I took a picture of every course) came out to us one by one. During this time there were a number of things that resulted in our not wanting to go back: 1) we felt like we were part of a production line and the waitress was robotically going by a pre-agreed script - for example, despite the fact that we were asked separately to the other table whether we would like a break between the dessert and main, our differing preferences were agreed verbally and then completely ignored as she brought them out together 20 minutes later, 2) the toilets were not very nice with toilet roll unwound on the floor and an unpleasant smell (in all honesty they're nicer at Warwick Hospital!), 3) there was a general feeling of cheapness about the whole place, it really felt like they were trying to save on every aspect including staff, decor and lighting which made for not the most comfortable of experiences, 4) it was really quite dark in the area we were seated so I asked for a candle seeing as i could see candle holders about - whilst we were indeed presented with a tealight, this really seemed to put the waitress out and I felt very awkward to have asked for one - it's such a shame because a few candles on the tables would have made for a much nicer ambience and I could see the other table looking over at us enviously! The food was ok - nicely presented but unfortunately nothing that would bring us back. On the way home we walked past an Indian restaurant that was heaving with people and the sounds and smells of people enjoying an evening of good food - we both wished we'd gone there instead!

Beautifully cooked food and very unique and cosy decor. The staff are also warm and friendly - we tried the 7 course taster menu and they brought each dish out promptly and explained what each of them were to us. We had a lovely time. Thank you.

Location a stone throw to Warwick Castle. One of the best or the best Seafood restaurant I ever been. All seasoned very well and cooked to perfection. Staffs are very friendly and really helpful in guiding on the menu. Good value for money 💯 recommendation.

Incredible seasonal tasting menu in the centre of Warwick. The level skill, flavour and produce made it well worth the money. You can taste the passion behind the dishes. Be sure to make a visit if you’re looking to try some delicious new food!

Have to say for me this is the best place to eat in Warwick. I took my wife to try the tasting menu we had heard a lot about and we were not disappointed. The food was tasty and fresh with plenty of courses and lots of variety which combined well dish after dish. Definitely would recommend and will be returning.

The food is exceptional!! The wait for the food and drinks wasn't too long at all and the waitress was friendly and very easy going.
I and my table all had the cod and chips with mushy peas. The chips were perfectly cooked. The cod was a good size and the batter was golden, light and crispy. This place also has a bar that serves beers and cocktails and they also play music.
To top it off, the selection of seafood on offer is fantastic! Octopus, crab, oyster, pan fried prawns, seabass, Gin and Tonic Salmon, salmon arancini balls. So much choice. As well as battered chicken.
The only issue that I had was that despite the fact that the tables look great for the venue, they don't provide any leg room as there are planks of wood on large wooden boxes. So I felt I had to twist my back and lean over the food, which was uncomfortable on my lower back. In the end, I ended up sitting at the corner of the table, with my legs either side of the box.
I cleared my plate and would definitely come back again for more!! One of the very best fish and chip shops I have been to.
Definitely in my top 3!!!!

£ 12 for a fish and chips which wasn't anything special, horrible chips from a plastic bag not even McCain probably Iceland's cheapest, they sale themselves as a seafood bar and can't get the most basic right, I'm sorry but I had better from Mr Singh. £7 too expensive. Oh stop selling t-shirts concentrate cooking proper chips.
