Nando's Chelmsford

I go to this nandos once a week and I'm never disappointed. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and the food is always well done. Great value for money, would highly recommend

If you've ever been to a Nandos you know what to expect, if not then expect lots of chicken based scoff and some vegetarian options too. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the place was very clean.

Be aware if you are having the Piri Piri chips as mine were very spicy (which I don't mind) and my medium spiced half a chicken was very spicy too, the cold beer help put that fire out though. They also offer unlimited refills on soft drinks which my daughter was a big fan of.

On the whole a four out of five experience.

Probably one of the best dining place I’ve been to in terms of handling queries about allergens. The food was good too, and was served quite quickly. I think what really makes this Nando’s standout though is the staff. Izzy was really friendly, got hs seated quickly and made sure we had all we need despite it being a really busy lunch hour. Dani at the till was also amazing as she made sure to check and double check the allergens in the food for me and my son - she was so friendly and didn’t appear to be inconvenienced by our allergies. Most servers or attendants at food places always seem not enthusiastic about looking for the allergens we are concerned about and almost always makes us feel like we are just an inconvenience. Dani was really different and I think she and Izzy are to be commended. We loved our experience at Nando’s that afternoon!

Decent food and quick delivery, the wooden fork died pretty quickly but it is what it is.

Service was fairly slow but it was busy at the time so I had no problem waiting. Was in a hurry so staff packed up my meal quickly. Food was great, I'd recommend getting the app before you go.

As an ex South African Nandos is my go to meal. It is just a shame you cannot order online for Chelmsford and collect. Not sure what has happened to that facility but it does create an inconvenience

Staff always helpful.

Although initially a bit miffed with the waiting time and almost started to feel, the lady who was receiving guests and finding us a space upstairs was judging us for some reason or the other, she actually found us a great boot space upstairs, very thoughtfully, right near the lift and also showed us a nearby toilet if we needed to use. Thank you! (sorry I don’t know your name! ).

The team escorted us downstairs when using the lift again.

It was my birthday and my little one insisted we celebrate in our favourite restaurant so we all went there as a family and didn’t regret.

Food as always was good. Music complements. Toilets clean.

Staff were utmost polite and caring, especially for little ones!

Do not order from here for delivery, food arrived 20 minutes late , cold and half of it missing. Had to chuck it all in the bin , they refused to re-deliver or refund. Will not use again.
