If you visit Kendal, this little gem of a place is definitely worth a visit. Tucked away down a small side alley you’ll be greeted with a friendly smile and great food.

We had the Brisket and loaded Mac & cheese. Both dishes came out well presented with decent sized portions, enough for 2 to share.

The slow smoked brisket was succulent with nice Smokey flavour, complimented with a side of beans, fries and fresh home made slaw.

The loaded mac & cheese is highly recommended, topped with a generous portion of pulled pork was cooked to perfection, with pickled red onion and bbq sauce was packed with flavour and filling.

I will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Amazing food. Discovered accidentally and so happy I did. The food & staff were amazing. I’ll be making trips to Kendal specifically to eat here and will be ordering from their online shop. It was the best burger I have ever eaten

If you love ribs or indeed any BBQ style this is one that can't be missed. Turned up probably as they were just about to close and were still happy to serve. Food and service were excellent and couldn't recommend highly enough the short rib. Server knew everything about the food preparation and how the chefs worked. Unfortunately we were visiting from NZ so can't guarantee when we will be back but have family nearby so you will see us again!

Good atmosphere and great concept but when the chips are the best thing on your plate it is a little disappointing. We have never been before and went from Google reviews which were great. NY ribs were solid and inedible and my partners been brisket was average. They were very good and gave a partial refund. We were very much looking forward to having such a great idea for an eatery where we live but unfortunately I don't thing we will return.

What a place to visit. Good food to enjoy, shearing plate for two was what you want to taste it out. Lovely staff and service

So glad we found this place. Tucked away at the end of an alley. Really warm welcome and amazing food. Had the beef brisket plate and the loaded hot dog both were delicious. Generous portions and piping hot. Frozen Margaritas were fab too. Definitely visit if you are in Kendal

Super, cosy little restaurant down one of Kendal's alleys, just off the high street. We shared the Pitmaster's platter and upgraded to the brisket, which was a *very* good decision! It was truly delicious - succulent, tasty meat cooked to perfection. The sides were amazing too - the chips were so crispy. We decided to try the Michelada and Chelada (drinks) which were interesting. Both were great, but of the two, I preferred the Chelada (the beer with ice, lime and salt) as this complemented the food better. The service was friendly and efficient too. We'll be back soon!!

Overall I really enjoyed my meal. Stopped here to break up a journey. First-off it was a bit tricky to find coming from the direction of the Booths car park, it is quite tucked away, not sure if they are able to add their name to the 'more shops this way' signs but that might help. Coming from the main part of town it is well sign posted.

Sat outdoor in the lovely little courtyard. A good mix of music throughout (including plenty of country). The waitress was good; attentive and checked everything was okay. I had the ribs, they were good, the fries were very good and the coleslaw was great. The pickles were delicious but there were only 2 little pieces and a fair amount of raw white onion (see photo) which I thought was odd. I had the ice tea to drink which tasted homemade and was not too sweet but at £4 (for 440ml) I'd expect it to be free refills considering it's tea with ice. Desserts were also expensive £10 a pop of you want a scoop of ice cream with it but sounded/looked delicious. I'd have been tempted by a milkshake if that was on offer. I've eaten BBQ all over the world (see my other reviews) and do a fair bit of hot smoking myself also. Overall a good meal and good service I will return if in the area.
