Wagamama high street kensington

I love wagamama. Not been in years. We were on the way to the theatre and had a lovely meal. Employees as always were friendly and attentive. Never had a bad experience at wagamama. I had my usual and my sister s had Chicken Katsu

Loved the food here. This is modern Japanese fusion food. Loved it every bit. Visited this place before covid hit in 2020. Look forward to visit soon.

Very impressed by my vegan option. The ‘egg’ was made out of coconut cream. The mushrooms are super delicious as well.

Not sure if it is because of the COVID, but the chapsticks are from single used bamboo. Would prefer the reusable materials though.

Good ramen, however it was a less filling than other ramen places. For the payment you have to fill in a lot of personal information and card information which is a bit odd since finding this out after eating makes you feel obligated to give more information than you would have otherwise.
Luckily you can still ask to pay by card.

A nice peaceful Asian experience with a blend of gustatory dishes. The food was wholesome, fresh and soulful. Definitely left an indelible impression on the buds. For 3 people we had x2 starters, 3 main courses and 2 desserts. Very nominal for £70. Would consider the ramen next time but the dishes in pictures were lovely.

We like this Wagamama with lots of choice as you would expect in any Wagamama branch.

The staff are friendly although last night one was sleeping at the back of the restaurant where they prepare takeaway food.

The toilets are clean enough.

Excellent service, lively ambience, commendable drinks - but was seriously let down by the food.

For starters we had chilli squid. Mains were kimchi chilli prawn ramen and salmon teppanyaki. Though we can’t complain on portion size and presentation, safe to say that all three lacked depth. Perhaps they’ve westernized the menu too far.

That said we left a substantial tip (the service can’t be faulted) but made a mental note not to patronize this place again.

We were very pleased with the food! Besides that, there was a long wait even tho plenty of staff was waiting around. The whole place seemed a bit chaotic and unorganized even tho it was half empty. Nobody took our order until we asked if we may order.
