Never order from this place unless you like losing a stone in weight before your food arrives. Ordered through just eat, 2hrs later still no food. Called, and was told the food had just been started to be cooked. Ridiculous, if you are that busy, don't accept the order in the first place. All they offered was a free drink.

My partner and I often buy from Happy Family not only for their quality of dishes but friendly customer services on every visits. To be honest can't comment on other dishes as we always order the same: beef and black beans sauce, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, Monk vegetables, salt and pepper prawns and beef hor Fan. These are always hot and tasty as well Good portion. I highly recommend this and the only Chinese takeaway within Hornchurch that makes beef fried hor Fan.

Was coming home late from work and did'nt want to cook so took them up on the advertised fish & chips for a fiver. It tasted good but when opening the bag, it was a little too saturated in oil for my liking. Still can't complain for a fiver.

This is by far the best around, we ring and say its your favourite customer. We order from here all the time, even when we have large numbers of family around for a nights entertainment. This place delivers hot, fresh, tasty food.

We ordered over the phone at 5:45pm for a delivery. Fair enough it’s Christmas Eve so we accepted their estimation of a 1.5 hour wait. After 2 hours we called back and were told it would be another 30 mins. After 40 mins still no delivery. Then when I called back I was told they would start cooking it. I had to cancel the order as it would’ve been over three hours by the time it reached us, if it ever would. A takeaway place shouldn’t just prioritise people that are walking in to collect when they have taken orders over the phone already. People waiting at home are just as important, especially when they are long term customers as we were.

I am shocked to see so many bad reviews for this place. I have placed an order it came a little delayed but food was amazing and price was very reasonable too. Definitely recommended.

Great service with delivery. Food is hot & tasty . Sweet & sour chicken is so tasty. Potions are very generous
