Peking Hors D'oeuvre

Usually good but on this occasion after spending £33 on a takeaway it appeared to be half of lunchtimes or previous days dishes reheated having to throw half of it away as inedible. Fobbed on the phone with the "it freshly cooked" quote when challenged offered a discount on the next order. ... Maybe time to find another takeaway.

It took a while to find a good Chinese takeaway in Chelmsford. Peking Hors D'oeuvre is by far the best. They do get busy so can't alway order takeaway (which says a lot about how good the food it). Delivery is usually super quick and the food really flavoursome.

Had the best Chinese I've had for a long time this evening . Delivery was quick, food was piping hot and all was delicious. The crispy duck pancakes were amazing, as was everything else

26.5% cost increase in less than 2 years!

For a while now I have been wondering why the cost was 30 something not 20 something as it had always been

Yesterday we.just had 2 mains and 2 starters and it was.just over £32

I questioned this and we were told that we were working from a 2020 menu

Got a new menu with the delivery

Compared prices and 26.5% increase

I’ve been using these people for more than 10 years and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad Chinese dish. I just happened to work opposite, but I used this place before we moved here. I love the hot and sour soup and the chicken and mushroom soup. And I had a lovely omelette the day before yesterday.
I don’t order through the just eat app, I just called them up and it’s always ready. I live in Stock so occasionally we will have Chinese. So I have tried others in and around in Billericay, I haven’t found a better one yet.

Real waste of money, the beef dish was extremely freezed and not even cooked properly. All the meat were undercooked and disgusting. I throw everything into dustbin and 33 pounds wasted.

Absolutely the worst Chinese I have ever had , the mixed veg was a load of slop
Bland tasteless chow mien , crispy chilli beef more carrots on top than chilli beef ( no chillis !!!! New Year’s Eve food £75 charged . Will never go to this place again need to change the name as nothing Hors D’oeuvre about the food 😡😡😡

Nice meal tonight and nice to see a family business doing great 👍
