The service is friendly and very courteous, with owners who seem to genuinely care if you are enjoying your food.
And the food. My God, it's good. You have to be prepared for spice with a lot of dishes but every meal I've had there has been huge and full of flavour. There are also creative choices for veggies (me) and vegans (my sister). You get a lot of complimentary starters which are actually as nice as the meals, not just a few dry bits of bread like in some joints.
No matter how often we go we tell ourselves we will only get one course because it's so filling but end up getting 3 because it's so tasty! And the mint tea is truly lovely to finish with.
Recommend for a quiet, delicious meal in a friendly local restaurant.
Food arrived in disgusting soaked packaging
Hash browns was greasy like someone dipping them in oil before put it in box
Horrible packaging, I serve food for my dog better than that
They have the best merguez in London. The tagines are a treat and are not to be missed. The kofta and grillades are very good. In all honesty, every item on the evening menu is worthy a try. To finish off there is a nice selection of desserts. The lemon and cassis sorbet is superb.
In addition to the evening menu, the restaurant offers traditional English breakfast and a separate menu for lunch. The service is very good. The owners Frances and Abdel are warm and welcoming.
