Nando's Croydon - High Street

All well,its our personal favourite chain...taste wise no complaints but the wraps breast fillet grill pieces were too small....so it felt more like a lettuce wrap more than a chicken wrap...
Not good ..

Was seated quickly and food was delicious

We received cold, undercooked food on 18th Nov. Friends warned me that the standards have dropped but I insisted on Nandos and was so embarrassed and disappointed.

The wraps were straight from a supermarket shelf- raw white flour taste and the food was cold and soggy. I ate the great imitator wrap which was dry. Friends are grilled chicken which they said was undercooked and tasteless. Really disappointed at the food and the delivery service which was 40 mins since the order was placed. Why Nandos?

Ordered food from Nandos Croydon High Street. Delivery arrived cold, tasteless. Food tasted like it was bought from a supermarket. Uncooked..this is not the service and quality I'd expect from Nandos and for the price we paid, it was disgusting.. All our family who ate the food are now down with a tummy bug.

Will not order again and will not recommend

Absolutely expensive for portions served, maybe I am comparing based on US prices and portions, but again that's just my opinion..

This isn’t a bad review against the branch; it’s against Nando’s. How can you not provide sauce with takeaway food anymore😩 I got extra hot quarter chicken.. and wanted to try your festive Brussels sprouts with mint. If I had the extra hot sauce this combo would of hit… instead I had a spice free meal. Gutted. Spouts were lovely tho, chicken always a 10. Wish I knew about the sauce I would have pre brought some :( delivery fast as usual just hope head quarters reconsider the sauce situation.

Honestly the worst food I have ever tasted in my life!!! Asking took a spoonful of my mash the whole bowl lifted of my plate it was literally like the texture of clay!!!! The quality and standards of the food was appalling, I don't think i will ever eat at nandos after the experience I had today, I sat for a food 15 minutes and could see my food ready just sitting under the hot light as multiple waiters/waitresses walked past and just ignored it, it had take my partner to asked for our food before we actually received our food!!! As a chef myself this was completely and utterly disgusting, wouldn't even feed it to an animal let alone serve it to a paying customer!!

This place is absolutely terrible. Ordered from there twice the chicken came in a box full of water, no marinate sauce on it was completely white. Ordered from there only 3 times and they forgot something in my order 3 TIMES. My daughters chips. My dessert was a dry cheesecake no double cream lastly my mums salad. They gave no sauce so when i ordered a whole chicken and it came dry with no marinate and just water in the box it wasn’t fixable. I went a couple months ago with my cousin my food came way before hers there was like a 25 minute difference in time so my food was cold by the time hers came. I then asked them for takeaway and it was just a simple 1/4 chicken no sides It took 40 minutes for them to give me with no sides. Was ridic. Family was complaining. Spoke to the manager He was lovely and shocked that 3 times it was wrong and dry. He offered me vouchers in restaurant months ago but i never went. After a long time I ordered again delivery yesterday. But I had to call up to sure everything was correct twice. That sauce was given and that the chicken was moisture and my sweet potato wedges actually had the Perinaise. I spoke with Toby, and he made sure everything was actually more than perfect and flavoursome.
Well done himm. So actually I am only giving it 3 stars due to the manager being really nice and Toby getting my order right this time. Otherwise i wouldn’t star it at all.
