Mezzo Tavern

First things first, you cant complain about the variety. You could get anything your stomach desires at this place from sandwiches to crepes. I have recently been here for breakfast and if you are after a big feed after the night before then this is a good place to go. Again the breakfast choice is large and you can tailor most dishes to anything you like, there is traditional English breakfasts along with more Mediterranean style grub. The coffee is ok too. Don’t go if you are in a rush but the food is worthy of a decent café.

For anyone looking for great Mediterranean food give this place a try. Great prices and service to match. Food was great too! We were here on business and staying at a high end hotel we found the food and service better than in our hotel bar and restaurant.... Thanks guys if we are in the area we will be back

I love the updated restaurant, its massive, airy and reminds me of being abroad in the Mediterranean countries.
We had breakfast and loved it, the restaurant was quiet just how we like it, the portions are big and it’s fresh.
A nice place to come with family.
I look forward to try the Shisha bar.
When we looked at the menu outside it seemed expensive but now I would definitely make it my local restaurant to eat, it’s value for money.

Had the worst experience in this place!! When I entered the restaurant it looked all nice but then eveything went down hill, firstly so many waitresses but none of them are fit for the job, we ordered 3 similar set breakfast and I'd a mezzos breakfast and guess what you cant change the set breakfast menu, not even black to green olives. One of my friend ordered mocha, she was served with an espresso. Now comes the breakfast, so its the different waitress then the one who took our order brings it and she has no idea what she's bringing, then she's joined by another waitress and they both confused as hell as in who's orders is what and later joined by the chef I guess who can barely speak english (actually none of the waitress could speak engish properly or understand what were we saying), so we'd to get the menu and sort out the orders, (there more to come lol) one of my friend order was yet not served and suddenly we hear two guys proper arguing in the kitchen and when she got her food they gave her half fried eggs instead of scrambled, when we told one of the waitress about it, she gave one of the strangest excuse I ever heard, she said sorry about that its cause they're arguing/fighting and she never got the eggs changed, we carried on and at the end when i asked for the receipt of my card payment, she didnt know how to print a customer copy and denied to give me one. The worst experience of my life.

The food is so overly priced and not worth the money you paying, just as another high street cafe, actually worst!!

So so so so so bad. They just cannot cook at all. Bland, unimaginative, badly cooked food. No atmosphere, terrible interior design, empty restaurant (should have taken it as a warning sign). The service wasn’t the best. Trying to search for a plus point here... the only thing I can think of is the exterior looks nice enough to trick you into going inside. Don’t be fooled by it. Sorry for being mean but it was just so bad!

Why empty? Because the food is not nearly on par with other Turkish restaurants on this road. Sorry, avoid.

Went here with a friend, all the staff are very nice apart from one guy with the bushy hair and beard. His hair was in a bun, his attitude was really bad.

Asked for a coal change and he said what if I said no?! I said is there a policy ? He said no you can eat as much as you like!

What in the world was he playing at. Anyway the nob head must go.

horrible food!!!!!!! very stupidly overpriced ( cheap ready cakes sold at stupid prices) quality of the food very bad! definitely don’t know how to cook the dishes they serve :) !!!! disgusting customer service (waitress berivan haven’t seen a stuck up waitress like her, terrible!!!) avoid this place !!!!
