The first time I’ve ever been moved to write a review, but sadly this time merits such a thing.

Firstly, I live just up the road, but having to look after my son I was unable to collect my take away, so I decided to order one to be delivered over the phone.

Firstly, I was spoken to by someone who didn’t understand what I was saying, so another gentleman took over and took my order. He then said “see you in 20 minutes”.

I had to then call back and explain I wanted my food delivered, so he took my address, I said “can I pay over the phone” to which I just got a “thank you goodbye”. I didn’t have any cash on me, and I didn’t want to call back a third time!

So my food was delivered, I said “can I pay by card” and then the abuse started! Personally insulted! It was all my fault! So that’s me done with them. The food was overpriced anyway, I prefer the one in Bramba to be honest. I told them to take their food back, and check my review online. To which he did and I hope the gentleman reads this.

Now read this and learn some manners...... or at the very least listen to what someone says on the phone. I understand you are busy and probably overloaded with orders. But if that’s the case then please hire more staff, because orderinga simple meal for 1 person who lives 4 minutes walk up the road should not be an ordeal!!!! and if you make people afraid to speak to you then you will loose customers.

And you’ve certainly lost mine.

Have been frequenting this takeaway for awhile now and have to say we love their food. Constantly always good., very obliging and happy to adapt dishes to our taste. Staff are really friendly. Gets very busy at weekends so place your orders well in advance. Nice that they deliver as well. Our Friday night treat 😋

Order took over an hour to be completed, even when ordering ahead and being given a time to collect. We had to wait over 30 minutes longer than the allocated time.

Yummy good food, fair price, had tikka masala and dansak, both very tastey

Best takeaway ever so good because literally so good very good popadom and I get free food every day chicken tikka very yummy and yes it is me Umar Hakim.
Also very halal.
All workers are good especially The two Hakims.

I live in Henfield and I have to say, it's worth the drive to COLLECT.
The food is really well cooked and it is our favourite Indian Take Away in the area. Chicken Badami is a must (Made with Cashew Nuts and cream - a winner!)
Also, paying by cash gives you a 10% discount?

One word of warning though, if you live in Henfield and you want it delivered, be warned as it can take a while. Henfield is 5 Miles away and probably isn't the quickest of locations to deliver to.

Great food. Fast delivery on a week day. You may wait a little while on a weekend, only due to them being very busy on a Saturday. But it's worth the wait if you want quality India food. Well worth a visit

Disappointing. I’ve frequently enjoyed the aromas emanating from this place as I’ve passed by and looked forward to trying it. The reality was a disappointment.

The lamb was average and gristly in places, the chicken wet and floppy. Portion sizes ok, but starts to feel pricey if you add in extras like poppadoms.

...and the cash discount they promote everywhere is only if you order by phone, not their website, a fact which they promote nowhere.

I wouldn’t make a detour for it and I won’t be trying again.
