No.3 Curry House

Stopped on the way from a road trip. Ok tasting food. Restaurant a bit on the small side with a few makeshit tables,but their main side of the trade is take outs. Very polite and friendly staff. Would I go to dine in? NO. Would I order a take out?🤔🤔 maybe.

We're on holiday here and wanted to get a takeaway curry. Read reviews and thought let's try here.
So glad we did, from the moment I phoned to order I could tell we'd chosen the right place. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our food was ready at the time we'd been given and it was delicious. Thank you.

Simply our favourite Indian restaurant. Food is incredible, staff are mega friendly, welcoming and funny. We’ve been as a couple, as a family and with friends and it never disappoints whether it’s takeaway or dining in. It’s bring your own booze if you sit in and the price of the food is incredibly reasonable. Just a great place and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Drove up from London to spend the weekend in Lake District. Decided to go to No.3 curry house for a dinner date with the missus, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. Great authentic food and waiters went above and beyond. Really enjoyed the evening. Highly recommend!!!

Just had a takeaway from no 3 curry house. It was absolutely delicious! The staff were extremely courteous, and brought our takeaway to the pub next door when ready! What a fantastic service, couldn’t have been more helpful and polite.

Shane is the owner. He is exceptionally friendly and so are the rest of his staff. His son, Riyadh, has a quick wit and twinkle in his eye.

The food is extra specially good. The chilli strength indicated on the menu is very accurate and that is matched by the masterly mixture of delicate spices.

We tend to eat in, rather than have a takeaway. They don't have an alcohol license, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own. Shane provides bottle opening, glasses and wine chillers at a very reasonable cost (£5 at time of writing this review) and there is always a lively atmosphere.

The restaurant is very popular, especially at weekends, so if you want to eat in, book! We are very lucky to live in Milnthorpe and have such a great restaurant in our doorstep.
