Absolutely the Best Sunday Roast I've had out. The Homemade bakewell tart was delicious. Staff were 1st class.nothing to much trouble. 1st time been there with my family, will definitely return. Well worth a visit

A really lovely country pub, with plenty of history. The food was 1st class too. Well with going 'off the beaten track' to enjoy a good meal. There appeared to be a good atmosphere in the bar where people were eating too.

The food was good, the landlord and staff were welcoming and friendly. The food took a while to come out but I haven't taken a star off because we were enjoying catching up with friends and chilling out. Everyone enjoyed the meal, we will be back.

We stayed in our Motorhome on the Pub carpark and had a meal and a few drinks in the bar.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming the food was excellent and the beer was absolutely spot on.
I'd certainly stop of here again and recommend the pub to anyone.

Wonderful greeting on arrival. Lovely roast dinner and plenty of meat too. Lovely sweet to follow. This pub is so comfortable too with the log fire burning.

I live a good 40 miles from here, but for the food. It’s worth it. Mike & the team are super friendly, the food is amazing! I highly rate the peppercorn sauce! It’s heaven

Went to a wedding reception there, food was fantastic, staff were helpful and very friendly, this is a great pub to visit if you're in the area.
