Nice atmosphere & setting, the food was absolutely fantastic could not fault it in anyway it was absolute delicious. Steak cooked to perfection.
Had this on a groupon deal only thing I would say is if you do not get this on a deal it could become expensive for 2 people having a decent bottle of wine with say a starter & main that would be my only negative it could be a bit pricey other than that I would definitely recommend.
If prices are raised, the gift is not honoured and your guests are 'treated ' to the price increase. We were prepared to leave a generous service tip, which was subsequently reduced when presented with additional charges. SHOULD BE EXPLAINED TO ALL AT TIME OF BOOKING.
My daughter’s wedding ran seamlessly thanks to Tamsin, Cate and Alex.
Everyone was professional, kind, friendly and efficient.
A day full of lovely memories!
Thank you
I didn't feel it was value for money - everything was on the small side, and nothing was out of the ordinary, it was all rather plain and a bit dull.
The scones were tasty at least, but I personally would have liked them to have been just a little bit bigger and had at least one with sultanas in it. The brownie bites (and I really do emphasise the word "bites") were a bit dry and cakey.
I could have made some mini sandwhiches at home, bought some sweet treats from my local supermarket and it would have tasted much better and been more substantial (and better value for money).
As lovely as the staff were at least, I can't say I'd want to go back again sorry.
Slightly lacking in atmosphere, there was only one other couple. The service was really outstanding.
Very reasonably priced for such gorgeous food, too.
Firstly, I would like to express how disappointed I was at the quality and quantity of food served as part of the “Christmas afternoon tea”. It is by far the WORST afternoon tea I have ever experienced.
There was nothing Christmassy about this afternoon tea at all and myself and my friend were left completely unsatisfied.
To say that this afternoon tea experience is £22 per person is a complete JOKE!
The finger sandwiches were stale and dry, and the desserts WOW, they were shocking! The desserts were a mouthful each per person, how can you call this an afternoon tea experience or a luxury experience?!
I will not be returning and wouldn’t advise others to do this afternoon tea !
