A lovely cafe in a lovely setting with friendly staff and good quality cakes and coffee. It's sweetly decorated by people who clearly care. They even have their own beer! It was a bit too cold to sit outside when we were there but I would think it would be delightful on the deck in the summer. We stayed nice and toasty inside where there's a fireplace and plenty of space. There are intimate nooks or larger tables for bigger parties like ours.

Lovely atmospheric and spacious cafe that serves a nice breakfast and lunch, and dinner on fri/sat. Great spot for a coffee one a sunny morning on the patio or some rainy day inside with a scenic view of the lake.

Lovely little oasis... Pleasant find, simple things, like duck feeding on the pond, lakeside drinks and very nice breakfasts.

WOW ! would give more than 5 stars If I could.........mega busy first day of the summer hols, Saturday 23rd July @ 9.45 must have been 30 / 40 people already at this beautiful spot, BUT, plenty of great seating still available, and despite the rush, food arrived piping hot and bloody tasty in only ten mins from order ! Some people had their food in less time. The crew here have their game perfected - hats off to you guys! I have never had such tasty bacon at a cafe. Highly recommended..........could have done with a stronger coffee, but then equally there are people who like weaker coffee, so its no big deal. Thanks for a great brekkie guys ! Also they have many many gluten free dairy free options.

Found this lovely idilc place last week and thought I would pop up for breakfast. However, considering what you pay for a breakfast I was disappointed in the result.
I doesn’t come with toast or bread and butter (I can get over that) however, my issue was when I didn’t want either the mushrooms or tomato on my plate to save waste I was charged £1 for an extra egg on top of an £10+ breakfast. Needs a policy review I would suggest and more relaxing music than the semi rave I was subjected to.
