Frequented here Friday gone and had a great lunch, food was good value and they do an offer of 2 courses for 10 pound, soup was fantastic, even the bread was delicious. Wine was very nice too, staff were very attentive and let our slightly muddy Labrador in. The cheese board was magnificent.

It our 3rd visit over the last 18 months of lockdown and have always had great service. A community owned and run pub, serving great fresh food 😋 and thirst quenching drinks 🍻🥂 plenty of seating outside and in.

A lovely welcoming environment and a very good menu. However, there is a specials board if you can't find anything you fancy, and the food is excellent!
If I lived near by I would visit on a regular bases. ( Dogs are also welcome, as you might expect in The New Forest.)

My wife and I had dinner here last evening. We sat in the outdoor area which was comfortable and had a relaxed atmosphere. The food and service were excellent. We always enjoy our times here and can't wait to make another visit.

The bar, serving and kitchen staff did a great job of feeding and watering a table of 14 in good time with good humour. All very much enjoyed the evening.

It has a very friendly atmosphere, prompt and friendly service, the waitress was very accommodating and friendly. I had the steak and definitely would have it again. All in all a good venue and will definitely go back soon.

Had a very enjoyable and leisurely lunch. The kir royale were beautifully made as was my pie. Friendly staff. Good music and just a short walk from our campsite.

Fantastic delicious Sunday pork roast. Friendly stuff. It was nice food break there
