You don't expect Harvester to provide exceptional service, it's usually the regular; nothing out of the blue. We were served by Louisa who is an exeptional, friendly and attentive waitress. This heightened the experience massively and turned our regular Harvester visit into something much more enriched and enjoyable. She even recommended the dessert which was delicious. Thank you Louisa!

Great service! All the staff were super friendly. The meals were hot and served really quickly. Will definitely be back. The butter looks amazing and is nice and soft rather than Rock hard. 😋

Very busy restaurant with reduced staff but take nothing away from anyone working here!!! The manager (Matt) showed me to my table and was very attentive. Waiting staff although very busy always polite (Ethan) and sitting close to the kitchen the chefs sounded demanding but makes for a good team. Service very good, food hot and fresh and overall a huge recommendation if you are in and around this area. Well worth the 5 stars, thank you to all the team!!!

A group of us were booked into the premier inn next door, so we ventured here for a bite to eat. Staff were friendly and welcoming, great choice of outdoor seating which was lovely on a sunny afternoon.
We sat inside to eat. Our waitress was lovely, and very patient as we were waiting for one more person. The food was great, and really reasonably priced. We all left happy.
No complaints and I like certainly recommend, I will visit again when in the area.
I noticed they do an all you can eat breakfast which is cheaper than the premier inn. So worth popping next door if you haven’t booked a breakfast.

Good price. Went for a chicken steak and prawns. Stake was well done rather than medium rare. Chicken was pretty good. Service was good. Probably will go for a chicken meal next time.

Unlimited salad bar is back! Great services, delicious food, generous portions. Value for money and the kids got an activity pack. A fantastic destination for family-friendly dining

Been using the Bell& Barge for many years now & tbf it's always been one of my favourite place to visit.
The cleanliness is very good, toilets are super clean, the staff are very helpful & polite.
The food & drink menu has plenty of choice for beers, lagers, wines etc, a super range of foods from lunch to some favorite evening meals & deserts.
My only disappointment is the whole place was really cold which also made my food go cold very quickly.
I suppose it was fine for the staff moving around & been busy but sitting for a drink or eating it was very uncomfortable.
That aside I do enjoy coming here a couple times a year when I'm working close by & would recommend popping in if you're in the area.
