This was one of the best meals I've had here in the UK! Fresh and tasting. The stilton avo bake is amazing. The tomato and crab soup is a bit fishy but very fresh. Best beer around! And the cheese-chive scone....absolutely delicious!

Lovely tea rooms in historic settings with a good variety of choices on the menu. The staff are friendly, efficient, welcoming and nothing seems to much trouble for them. We couldn't fault our lunches and I guess many other people can't either as it gets very busy with a good mix of tourists and locals. You will probably stroll past as you explore this wonderful part of the world. We recommend you pop in for a brew and maybe something to eat. Enjoy!

Gorgeous old building with plenty of history. Came here as I saw they had vegan options. Opted for a vegan cream tea and it was good. Scones a bit heavy for me but still tasty. Really tasty jam. Plenty of tea!

Fabulous restaurant full of charm. Delicious food and great service. Spent three days in Rye and this was one of the highlights. Can’t recommend it enough!

We visited Fletcher’s House on Saturday night and had a flawless experience. From the very first steps into the restaurant we felt warmly welcomed and thoroughly looked after right up to when we left the premises! The servers were all really friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was incredible and cooked/made to perfection. Every ingredient on the plate was there for a reason and made for a truly exceptional experience. I only wish we lived closer!!

Quite simply the best restaurant in Rye in my opinion. The service from the young staff, in our case James and Amy, was very professional and attentive. The food was exceptional and head chef Matt and his sous chef deserve recognition. We’ve been twice and we’ve booked again in a couple of months. The menu is spot on. Not over elaborate, with a decent wine list at reasonable prices. If I had one minor quibble (and I mean minor) it’s that the chairs are a little low for the tables in some instances. It won’t detract from 5* though. Keep it up guys

Wonderful Sunday Lunch.
Excellent value,. Amuse Bouche, delicious home made bread were delicious. The starter and desert were first class & the Sunday roast the best I’ve had in years! The service and
attention to detail was brilliant.
However, personally not so keen on the decor, but super comfortable seating.
We shall be back c soon & have told many friends how good it is. Fist class. Thank you!

Recently refurbished, this was a comfortable place to enjoy a relaxed lunch with friends. The food was good, and the 2 or 3 course set menu was good value: especially as they also give you amuses bouches, then a coffee cupful of soup before the first course arrives.

I was somewhat surprised at the price of coffee: not unreasonable that this should be extra, but £5 for an espresso, with a service charge in addition, seemed over the top.
