My first eating experience at this restaurant which styles itself on a French bistro was very good. However I felt that £25 for a mains pasta dish was excessive. The service was more than acceptable but I had to ask for finger bowl after eating my mussels starter. If you want to eat out and cost is irrelevant then I would recommend it. For midweek it was reasonably busy and had a warm friendly atmosphere.

We popped in for cocktails and dessert! It was fabulous...the Manageress really looked after us and we really enjoyed our evening sat sipping mojitos!
Food is always incredible here 😋

We had a meal for my friends 50th birthday. There were 11 of us. It was excellent! Faultless! The service was fantastic, fast and efficient We had given our choices from the menu the day before. My food was gorgeous, and everyone else said the same. We all raved about the meal all evening long! Would definitely go again and recommend them to host groups.

We had the most delicious mocktails and cocktails in town, and the food is just finger-licking tasty 👏 #5stars

A very good meal and wine indeed. Good service and lovely surroundings. On the night Queen Elizabeth II died the restaurant closed early as mark of respect. I shall be back for a longer experience another time.

Excellent meal, and exceptional service. We had scallops, and a smoked mackerel mousse for starters, followed by sirloin steak, and blackened rump, which was all superb. The restaurant is a relaxing and enjoyable place to be, and we has booked to sit on the first floor, which I would recommend - it’s actually a slightly larger space than the ground floor, and we never felt ‘forgotten about’. Staff were very efficient, and extremely knowledgeable about the new menu, having tried all the dishes, and were able to provide their recommendations. The steak was beautifully rare, so you needn’t worry about the chef overcooking anything. Nice range of wines, including a Petit-Chablis at £28 a bottle, though would have been nice to see more wines available by the glass. The pudding menu looked divine (our waiter said his favourite was the white chocolate & cranberry bread and butter pudding), but we were much too full for more!

Bill came to £98 which was very reasonable, and I don’t think I’ve experienced such exceptional service like this in the area.

One of the very best restaurants in Rugby. The staff are always polite and welcoming. The food is fantastic and there is even a wonderful cocktail bar (I think only open Fridays and Saturdays but could be wrong!) on the top floor. Already booked to go back next month.

We had another fabulous evening with friends at CVC last night, great atmosphere, the restaurant was beautifully decorated. We had the Christmas menu and the food was excellent as always. We felt really looked after by the staff who are always so attentive and friendly. The cocktail bar was buzzing too! Looking forward to returning for our family Christmas eve celebrations!!
