The Chippy Maghull

Nothing much to add to the title, chippies are all very much the same.......wide range of food, good value, quick service......what's not to like. Great carry-out food: traditional, Chinese, pizzas etc, You can order online. Fish and chips are excellent. Strongly recommended.

Convinced they've purchased all their good reviews because this was the worst takeaway I've ever had. The entire meal was inedible and made me sick. Nothing had any sauce on? Everything was bone dry... even things like sweet and sour chicken. What in the hell? I looked at their Facebook page and the owner is very unprofessional and rude and from the pictures they upload you can see that nothing is fresh and it's all pre prepared in bulk and kept in a baine-marie which explains the poor quality, tasteless and watery food. The chicken is from cheap packets, The kind you get to make sandwiches with. The whole experience was a disaster and when I called up about it, I was met with an abusive and bad attitude... if I could give 0 stars I would. I can only assume that the people rating anything more than 1 star have been paid, are friends or family or have no tastebuds.

Had to pre order so it was ready for me on pickup, hot and tasty but a bit on the small portion side ,but nice will go again

Used to order regularly until I had cause to complain about a delivery being sent at the wrong time (happened more than once) The owner turned his back on me and completely ignored me so I'll be spending my hard earned cash somewhere where my custom is appreciated in future
