Just about a year old and very much the most interesting eatery in Welwyn, albeit there aren't many good places, the refurbished Post Office has ground floor and first eating, themed oil paintings abound of 1930s portraits of aloof socialites, strange effect, grub was tasty and filling portions, tres nice and helpful staff - makes Welwyn worth visiting now that John Lewis store seems to be in terminal decline.

Had a very tasty lunch; varied menu, plenty of fresh salads and a good gluten free selection. Very attentive helpful staff. Hubby had Wang Chai rice & I had a veggie stir fry with halloumi. We sat on the terrace in the sunshine. Delightful.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food always hot and fresh, with fast service. They also do some really nice breakfasts.

Great food, really good service and very friendly staff.
Even on a busy weekend lunchtime. We didn't have to wait to long for our food, which when it did arrive was cooked to perfection.
With 2 meat eaters, a vegetarian and a vegan in the group we were all catered for and left very happy and full!.
Also my father-in-law was on a small foldable mobility scooter, which he could easily access the main floor of the Lounge and there was downstairs disabled toilet too.

You didn’t address the cold food, rude staff and uncleanliness, loo door handle falling off (fixed it for you). I asked are there tables upstairs on arrival 3 times. Have never visited before- I did not know what was up there. The host said twice she didn’t know which I can see now she thought I was asking for a table up there which I was not. So she told me to go look which was our party’s welcome. Not that we wanted to sit upstairs.

Our toy non malting well behaved dog was in a bag placed on a chair out of the way of people walking around. And it is not the policy but the communication of the policy to customers that matters. Went Cafe Nero next door where he was made very welcome.

Dirty, unwelcoming, rude staff. No gluten free soup even though on menu. Says dog friendly but really not - quite dog unfriendly Welcome host sent us upstairs to see if there was a table! Sticky floors, sloppy. Toilet door handle fell off in hand but it’s okay fixed it! Waited a very long time for food that arrived cold. Staff dress code abysmal - there is none - bare backs etc unhygienic. Rubbish bag dripping all over floor left there Health and safety nightmare. Very noisy banging. Even my dog wouldn’t eat the food and you couldn’t even buy a stamp!!! Don’t go overpriced. Have to wash clothes when get home so dirty!

Went here for a date night with my partner and it was the best decision we made that night!

Service was really good from the two women behind the bar. I got the Sloppy Joe Burger which was beautiful and flavoursome, the brisket was a really nice touch. My partner got the Chicken Parmo Burger which she said was the best chicken burger she’s ever had. Not over cooked or undercooked and was nice and juicy. For dessert, we had the warm brownie which was perfect!

Definitely worth the price and look forward to coming here again! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a vegan breakfast with my husband and friend.
I enjoyed the vegan smashed avocado with a lovely latte with oat milk.
They have a great range on the menu with very affordable pricing.
The others had the vegan big breakfast( which was huge!) and the eggs with bacon.
The app was very user friendly to order from

Since this place has opened I think I must have visited it on several occasions. The food is good and the service is really friendly. They do have a limited range of mocktails but other then that the place is definitely one I would put down on the top ten in Welwyn to visit if your after a decent place for a meal.
